| Oh, this was some intense stuff! Jonathan Joestar dies a true legend, crazy props to the gentleman! Using his very last breath to come up with that ingenious idea to strangle the ship and blow up taking down Dio with him is a marvellous idea but I’m sure this even will not be enough. Dio showing utmost respect to him was nice to see and seems as though Jojo didn’t disappoint one bit. But, that aside, Elina Joestar is alive and has his offspring within her womb so the ‘gentleman’ bloodline persists and next episode we’re off to 50 years ahead with another Jojo! Will this series just jump from timeline to timeline with the different Jojos in existence or something of the sort? Starting the episode off with the mistake and the Chinese man snatching his body away was always going to end in disarray and sure enough it does! Dio with the brilliant idea to incapacitate himself definitely paid off even for fooling Jojo and co too as well as saving himself from the burning mess. Sad that the Marriage and his married life came to an abrupt end like that though, Jojo sure deserved better. Some adorable Elina x Jojo moments early up though, gah Dio back at it again with the timely interference. Elina staying strong throughout the whole havoc was really commendable though, I’ve to say. I don’t suppose we’ll be seeing Speedwagon and those pro Mystic Artists much anymore so here’s to looking forward to another lively and entertaining bunch! Finally, Part 2 here I come! |

| Finally, the stone mask is destroyed, the village is saved and both Jojo and Erina got married. All is well as their ship sails into the distant future into America. Aaaand, just like always, Dio just got to ruin it. Killing everyone on board in the end, including the gentleman Jojo himself. All but Erina and the baby is dead. Now the Joestar's true bloodline has now vanished with the death of Jonathan Joestar, but at least there's still a Jojo descendant. Part 1: Phantom Blood is now finished... |

| I was not ready for Jojo to die. At least Erina and the baby got out safe and of course Dio will somehow be alive. The protagonist just dying like what... hoping new guy is just as great. A true gentleman till the end. |

| What an episode. Wow! Everything wrapped up very nicely for the first arc. Jonathan Joestar had a great future ahead of him with his wife, Erina. Unfortunately, he was brought upon with tragedy after tragedy. Dio Brando did Jonathan dirty! You CRUEL BASTARD!! It sucks to see Jonathan go. RIP. He was a true gentleman to the end :( |

| Okay as a guy growing to old I really want have a girl like Erina. She's really deep down into love and will know each other. Such a perfect really good girl. After Dio died and his head found by his underling now both Jojo and Dio had died in ship. Well it was quite nice episode so far. Here comes new opponent he look so strong I thought. May be in America for the next part. |

| damn jojo got married, never thought he'd get a wife. Well a 9 episode arc, it was pretty interesting. It had some good parts and some bad parts. Enjoyed it overall. A manly death for Jojo. And the baby will probably face Dio with a 18+ year timeskip xD |

| The finger by a dying Jonathan Joestar pointed at a crying baby, and that folks is the decision that saved the entire JoJo universe, lemme tell ya. And as he hugs Dio, they both die as the ship explodes, disintegrates, and scatters in the Atlantic. Would've been nice to see an SOL JoJo x Erina episode, but dear Araki forbid that from happening, and with all that - ayy Phantom Blood is finished. I would be lying if I enjoy the first arc, with its slap dash pacing, subpar character designs, and weak storyline. But hey it was still a little fun I guess, so for this arc only I'll give it a strong 6 to weak 7. Woah yo Battle Tendency is coming, here comes the fun stuff! |

| Damn I wasn't ready for Jonathans death RIP ;_; This first part was great and at least Erina could protect the baby. Not sure about Dio tho, even if the ship exploded. Wouldn't be surprising to me if he appeared somewhere later on. The preview got me hyped hearing Sugita as Joseph. I'm sure this will be a lot of fun, even not knowing what the second is about at all. |

| Where did Dio get such a power to control JoJo's body and shoot lazer at him?.. And from the last episode before he fell off the balcony Why couldn't he use it if it was that deadly? He even said he wouldn't even hesitate to kill JoJo And how was JoJo able to talk to Erina after getting shot through the throat? Despite that in his inner monologue he mentioned that he couldn't talk nor breath? Well I did like how Danny was added at the end. |

| This was a good conclusion to Part 1, tho I still don't understand why Dio didn't laser-eye him before. RIP Jonathan Joestar; he died a true gentleman, protecting his family. Looking forward to Part 2. |

| Dio is incredibly powerful despite having only one part of his body. Nothing can kill this dude. Kinda missing speedwagon’s narration. I have a lot of admiration for Erina because she was willing to die alongside Jojo. What a terrible, sad ending to this episode, Bruh. I wasn't expecting Jonathan to die so tragically. He just recently got married and died soon after. Jonathan Joestar is an honourable lad. |
