Knew what was under that blanket the moment i saw it, but they still managed to make it creepy as fuck. We get a sense of just how much of a badass Shinya is in that training scene, and a bit of insight into his old partner afterwords. The picture i thought was of a girl is actually of the antagonist, lol. The entire episode was really well done horror, especially the end scene. Loved it all the way through, can't stop watching.

So now we know the sempai motive. She's one crazy psycho, I hope they catch her in time to save the other girl, even if I doubt it.

Though, I kind of like the other guy painting. It's really creepy and shocking, but I think is goal was laudable. I like the critic the white-haired guy made on his society. It's true that by being controlled for everything, even own destiny, the existence have no meaning left.

Why aren't they investigating the school yet? Knowing that the victim was from that school should be enough, no? And I think that Gino was right. I like Kougami, but having preconceived idea in an investigation is never a good thing, it can lead you to false lead (even if we know he's right).

Man this episode was awesome. Akane really wasn't trying to hide the fact that she was absolutely checking out Shinya but then again, if I were her I would too :p
"Is there something on my face?" he says but she wasn't even looking at his face ha.

I like this crazy girl, she's crazy. Though it seems that the guy with the white hair is behind everything. He's the one that provides all the killers what they need to kill. I wonder when psycho girl will get caught. I hope it's Shinya that does it.

Lol at Akane looking at Shinya like that :)).

And yep now I can say it for sure that the creepy stuff this girl does is indeed like the stuff that happens in the TV series Hannibal. bleah, I don't really like stuff like that.

Anyways the episode was quite good and the story gets interesting too, though now we know a lot more :).

This is so disturbing. One of the few shows I've connected with though because the characters seem so real, especially Kogami.

Cruelty. Brutality. Psychotic person. Those words are coming through my mind everytime I see Rikako.

Oh, there was a little bit of fanservice at Kougami's training scene. Keep screaming, fangirls. His dead friend was a womanizer - and badass at the same time.

Dat Kougami x Akane character development. Lololololol. This is exciting. You could say that I'm shipping both of them.

The girl in the end was hopeless. What a cliffhanger. Dundundundun.

the Akane ab checking was pretty funny as she did a terrible job at hiding it. What a weird taste in art.I guess the psycho skiped him and went to his kid.I feel bad for these school girls just getting chopped up.At least it seems she kills them before she chops them up.

Haha, it's okay Akane... I'd be checking that out too.

Rikako's that kind of psychopath who's utterly calm and casual about carving up corpses... Huh, that was a lot of alliteration. If she weren't using actual corpses it'd be rather interesting and beautiful yet unsettling artwork that she's making. As it is, however, it's just horrifying.

Oh god! D:
Creepy start...weird sculpture of a human....if that even makes sense. xD

Umm...ok. owo So, it turns out that a school girl, who's father was actually an artist who passed away, is making these weird human statues. o-o
Ok...kind of odd....but....hopefully it'll end soon. xD

Hmphf. The girl's father did not interest me, and while we got another look at Mashima, it was basically a waste of time as far as I'm concerned. That was the main flaw for this ep; the rest was great.

I agree. That whole scene with Makishima was nothing but a giant exposition scene that was made solely for the audience's convenience. All they did was dump some information so that WE the audience could understand the plot. Stuff like that is what breaks the immersion for me. Other than that, it was a good episode.

I agree. I rather hoped we would not see who was pulling the strings so early. Seeing the story told from both sides--and one side not even justified--just is not working for me. It felt like someone else was speaking instead of the characters and totally took me out of the show.

Lol, Akane is checking Kougami out.
Also, Makishima, you better be careful. Kougami will find you.

Rikako is one fucked up bitch. But I guess that's acceptable.
Or is it? Dominator to the rescue!

Oreo-senpai is love
Sakamoto Maaya is life. :v

Tbh, the best episode till now. The classical music just accentuated what Makishima was saying regarding senpai's dad. Gripping episode to say the least. I see death flag for Oreo-senpai though. Makishima said about Psycho-Pass and how it affects the humans.. then what is the whole point of this anime? :3

Makishima is behind both of the body cases. At least he has a motive to do this instead of doing it just to cause chaos. He said something about Eustress and how everybody in their society can't handle stress because it's been taken away. After stress is taken away, their immune system doesn't work as well and that eventually kills them.

Wow Rikako creeps me out!

A lot of explanation in this one, but again no action. Makishima sure has been busy. Is he the guy that we saw at the beginning of the first episode that Kougami battles it out with? He sure seems like the best candidate for the main villain.

This story arc is really good, but not my favorite of what we've seen so far. ★ 4/5

Holy shit, Kikako is INSANE! I thought she'd be laying with the white haired guy in the bedroom scene, but, nope. Just batshit crazy that one is.

Loads of backstory from Kogami about his partner here that was nice to learn as well.

I hope the Enforcers get fleshed out a bit more. I barely remember even seeing them here.

They never named the guy Makishima was talking to. Curious.

Gore? Yes.
Murder? Yes.

But.... Kierkegaard? For some reason it really blew my brain...
Maybe being Danish is part of the reason XD

I am used to Shakespeare, Van Gogh, Munch, Da Vinci and countless others, but Kierkegaard.... That's a first XD

Was that dead girl at the end the friend of the short haired one? As in, that one friend who was eating lunch with her in the previous episode? I kinda get lost while watching Psycho-Pass at times.

Hopefully the next episode is the last one with this psycho girl as the criminal.

Even Akane's resistance toward's Shinya's finely-sculpted body is futile! But damn, his punches are heavy. And it was also revealed that the only reason why he was demoted to an Enforcer was his unflinching desire to avenge his partner by killing the culprit the same way he killed him. Blowing the culprit up would've been fine because it's the Dominator's function anyway but I guess that wanting to chop him up and display his mutilated corpse was too sadistic I suppose.

It's clear that art senpai's dad was so preoccupied with the demented thought of cruelty lying within the being of man that he resorted to advanced stress-relieving drugs so much that he eventually stopped thinking. It's also very possible that a large quantity of stress-care products were injected into the girl she was sleeping next to and was actually very much alive in a comatose state right only until the part where she got decapitated like what happened to Sasayama. Another victim's gonna show up to the cops as an exhibit if they don't solve this soon...

I liked Makishima and Oryuu's speech.

She is a psychopath.
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.
