| lol, it's funny that some people hated this ep, because it was "boring." while others hated the first two because there was no "character development." you just can't please anyone these days. =D I like how they set up the first few eps. And I thought this ep did exactly what it was supposed to. After the surprise massacre of all the characters in episode 1, and then the action packed cliffhanger for episode 2, this episode set the stage for the rest of the season and showed that it wasn't just going to be "mindless action" the whole way through. Now we know for sure who the main characters are. It provides the backstory on them. But we're left guessing as to what happened to Yomi. We can guess that Kagura doesn't die in ep 2 (would be another shocker if she did). But again, we're left guessing how that gets resolved. And we have an idea of some of the conflicts that'll occur down the line. I'm looking forward to the next episode. [rant]On a completely unrelated note, someone's gotta review these character descriptions to screen for spoilers. I started reading about Yomi's character and stopped a sentence through because of all the info that's in there. I understand that it's already a manga, but all you need is basic character info, not their whole story.[/rant] |

| sMi's TL notes are so funny. Who doesn't know that 21:00 = 9 PM? Exposition episode, Kagura and Yomi remind me of Neji and Hinata from Naruto, where Neji is from the branch family and Hinata is from the head family. Hinata also has less fighting skill, just like Kagura. Was this head/branch family common in the old Japan? This show is very strange though, in the first episode everybody dies, in the second episode, more people re/die and now an episode with two girls in the same bathtub, two girls taking pictures and eating pokky? I have no idea how to rate this... |

There's one significant trait that seems to join all events and that is that other spirit. We even catched a hint of his intervention(the butterfly) in the scene that shows Kagura's mother being killed.I can understand why episode 2 was there but what about ep.1? Did they just show a team of kickass exorcists in ep.1 for Yomi to kill so they can tell us how powerful she really is? ep.3 was great, now am properly interested in this anime. |

| no deaths..... /impressed. less nonsensical dying without any development FTW i am starting to wonder if this could turn out to be a great yuri.... and btw, i just noticed chihara minori was a VA in this one, yay. Yomi was soooo cute... i am glad i didn't hate her just because she cute natsuki's head off :D so, the name Ga-Rei is finally appeared.... i was starting to wonder what Ga-Rei meant... Yomi's room is so... not what i expected. the match was nice. i love the detail of the bokken moving, and yomi attacking based on that. Girl and Girl interaction, i can never get enough of this. Yomi's group was nice. giving a stranger a long katana..... i would love to be there. Nabu is hilarious, wakamoto norio fits them so nicely. Izuna..... get your hands off Yomi D= Bath scene <3 the ending was interesting, yet another timeskip.... yomi and kagura make such a nice pair...... *cough* siblings. this demands a yomi fanclub (if one isn't made just yet) |

| I like what they did with this Anime. So awesome! I'm actually surprised I didn't watch this sooner to be honest. Both Kagura and Yomi were cute as hell when they were younger and Yomi was so dam nice... I wonder wtf happened. |

| After the 2 action packed episodes we go back to Yomi's and Kagura's every day life. I don't mind this, it's good to know the backstory :) Oh and "Paradise Lost" is such an awesome song ^_^ 4/5 Sent with Mal Updater |
