| Episode was ok. I really dislike the coach being a student. She is already starting to get annoying. Wish it was a grown woman. Anybody know do they ever play international basketball in the manga? If so America would demolish all of them and the so called miracles. LOL Kuroko and Kagami pretty cool. They just got 2 do something with that coach. I did like that spin and dunk glad they doing some flashy basketball moves and not the boring basics. If Kagami played like Tim Duncan i would had dropped this. I really hope Kuroko in the future learns how to dribble. I want him to be a crossover machine. I did LOL@ Kagami getting dunked on. |

| This episode ain't nowhere near as awesome as the first one. Feels like semi-filler with all that shouting shit. Taiga getting so impressed about Ryouta's skills isn't really that convincing. Maybe great talent irl but was it well-executed in the anime? Nay! They are wasting too much screen time to this praising and talk about the generation of miracles and how awesome it is. Overusing that term I'd say. It's like how would anyone be afraid of it or get excited about it when this is all they give to us? Yeah. But that said, I really did enjoy this episode but it isn't so good, imo. |

| Too bad they got interrupted by the teacher on the roof. It would have been quite interesting to hear what Kuroko wanted to say. Furthermore I'm intrigued what caused his change of mind, as he said himself when rejecting Kise's offer. There must be more than the promise he made with Kagami. |

How the hell is it plot development when all they talk about is Miracles before their on team. The coach is annoying no matter how you put it. Miracles are not the main its Kuroko and Kagami. I rather them focus on them 1st. We can focus on each Miracle by the time we play them. I guess the stupid yelling is part of plot development 2. No matter how you try to spin it the 1st episode was way better. They could had cut out the whole yelling part and at least started on the practice game with the Miracle team. |
| That was great! I was very impressed by the music. It suited the situation very well. I love Kuroko and Kagami's ever-developing bromance! Kuroko is an extremely interesting character. Love the contrast between him and Kagami, even their hair colours reflect that. I look forward to seeing their characters develop. Ryouta is pretty cool, but he seemed very typical. He reminded me of Kida from DRRR a bit. Silly on the outside, but can be very serious. If Miyano Mamoru voiced him it'd be hilariously awesome. |
| The pacing is just fine - when it comes down to sport anime, it's for the best when things aren't moving on too fast and everything is toned town a bit. And the episode was just great - nothing else to say. 5/5. |

If you compare Kuroko no Basket to sports series like Eyeshield 21, Cross Game, Major, Chihayafuru, Slam Dunk and Holyland then notice that it isn't doing its job that well from the part you called "plot and character development." That was a cool episode, I just wish so many of the characters werent so huge, only issue with Kuroko and Kagami, Kagami so tall but they are still great together so its acceptable. Kise was pretty interesting cant wait to see the next episodes practice game. |

| Looking forward to the first real game they play in the next episode. They didn't cover as much ground in terms of what was in the manga this episode as I thought they would which in a way is a good thing because they aren't just skipping content to make the series shorter. Enjoyed seeing the interaction between Kuroko and Kise and they really did stick to what was in the manga :p The anime series will probably be broken up into multiple seasons by the looks of things. 5/5 |
| It seems Kuroko is way better than he gives himself credit for; i wonder where he truly ranks in the Generation of Miracles; guess we will find out soon enough XD; Still think tho that he will eventually develop his own game (aside from touch passing) when someone predicts his passes and beats him. |

| Again, loving this anime. So far, I'm thinking it's my favorite of the season. I find it epic. o_o Nice development, and I'm glad they're not doing 1 chapter per episode. I'm definitely not going to read the manga before finishing the anime because then I'll know what will happen and it won't excite me as much. Have to say I liked the first episode a tad bit more, but I have no complaints. Love the opening. 5/5 |

| I saw Kise and was like "Ishida Akira plox" but then i heard Yuuki from Kimi to Boku and was like "Yeah, that works". Awesome episode, way better than last week so i'm really glad i picked up this show. Now i'll have to find someone to play basketball with, after watching this i must play a match or two. |

| I have no problem with a few episodes that take the time to introduce the characters as well as their opponents. I don't need every episode to be a basketball match. When proper time is dedicated to character development, especially in sports anime, you start to care about the characters, you care about the team and thus the wins/loses mean more. Needless to say I'm quite enjoying this show. I'm happy that there are so many good shows in the current Spring lineup to enjoy. I've found a few jewels this season. ^_^ 5/5 Can't wait for next week! |

| Man I'm loving this Anime so much already, so fucking good. Introduction of Kise Ryouta was awesome. Taiga doesn't compare to him right at the moment but man it's gonna be epic with Kuroko behind his back. Man, Kise can just observe a player once and completely imitate their moves completely but improving it. Geez that's crazily awesome. The OST fits soooo well, freaking loving it. Definitely getting it when it's released haha. I just love how serious this Anime gets while also having comedy once in a while. "If she's skipping, our next opponent's gonna be real tough!" I lmao'd @ that part so hard. xD Also the shouts during the assembly was hilarious. The one guy talking for so long LOL. That last scene where Kise tried to take Kuroko back and him declining his offer while saying that he promised Taiga that they'll beat the Generation of Miracles was too awesome. That tune that played during that scene was so epic, makes me so fucking pumped. XD So excited for the next episode... My gawd, why can't episodes come out quicker. xD |

| Another great episode. Can't wait to see how the team plays against the rest of the Generation of Miracles. As annoying as it gets to hear "The Generation of Miracles" almost every 30 seconds, at least from a first look, all the hype about them seems to be warranted. |

| One of the many qualities I really like about Kagami is that he doesn't get mad when he's beaten, but it lights a fire in him to try even harder. Kuroko is great as well; I laughed so hard when he said "I still don't have a sense of humor". |

| Ooh, first match already even if it's practice match. I liked it when Kise imitated Kagami's move and there was a shadow of Kagami following him. Real nice. There was some QUALITY at some parts in this episode though, most notably the faces of the people in the background but overall it's animated nicely. Can't wait for the actual match. The soundtrack here is really good. |

| Any one else not feelin the animation this episode? Dont get me wrong, the animation is better than most anime out there, but since its basketball I was hoping it would be a little more fluid for all the movements and all. The animation for me is like a 8.5/10 when it should be closer to 9.5 or 10. I hope they will improve the animation on major episodes- Kind of like how naruto/bleach improves with major boss fights. |

| This episode was pretty awesome, and it's following the original work near perfectly. I just wished they stopped talking about the Generation of Miracles (that also applies to the original work), but meh. |
