Not really sure what to say on this one. Oyuki's hallucination was probably the most interesting part, although Ryoko's bridge dive was up there as well. Even though Izumida writes it off as Ryoko messing with him I have to wonder if that's all there was to it...then again it is Ryoko so I wouldn't doubt it.

And it appears there will be more robots next episode...

it seems to me, it was something out of Ryoko's reach, cause she was deeply affected by Izumida's appearance or by the couple of things he said... Oyuki's part was astounding, satoshi kon-like xD Oryo's joking when about to jump off of the bridge was hilarious, and overall, a great episode as well, but wth was wrong with the end, bugs are still around does it mean this issue will pop up again in the next episodes ???

What a great episode. Brilliantly executed plot with strong and insightful characters, this was just a model of a detective story. Near perfect as usual. Still the best anime of the summer by far !

What a great episode indeed! Best one so far. You think you know what's going on but that's where the episode starts. I also loved the irony in this episode. Supernaturalism aside, it was very well written. Ryoko is as hot as always.

My guess for the reason she jumped is that as Yakushiji Ryoko, she had no worries whatsoever, since she had everything she wanted. But as Superintendant, she lacked the friendship/relationship with Izumida.

Either way, the bugs are still lurking... XD

That could be it. Or maybe the first sound of her beloved subordinate's voice made her emotional, and his calling her by her name made her emotional enough to feel something positive...

I don't know. Japanese culture assumes that the audience will read between the lines, but I think the writers often abuse that by writing stories that force the audience to look for a message that the writers themselves haven't decided on.

Wow, hands down the best episode yet. Ryoko was awesome when she faked jumping off the bridge, and then the ending was great xD.

Eugh. Those bugs make my skin crawl.

Did Ryoko jump maybe because one of her worries is that Izumida will never realise how she feels about him? Or maybe she's worried that he doesn't like her? ... Either way, she doesn't seem like a weak character who would house those thoughts. I also wonder why she jumped. Her tears seemed genuine.

More robots next episode! And apparently Ryoko's dad has lots of mistresses! o_O I hope one of his illegitimate children [if he has any] doesn't pop up and try to steal Ryoko's good fortune (stocks in JACES, heir, etc.) from her... (Though she'd probably just kick their butt, if one did appear.)

Good episode. It's odd how Ryoko seemed unaffected until she saw Izumida running towards her.

Are you guys really that clueless of why she jumped when she saw Izumida?

She doesn't want Izumida to be in danger by being on a bugged bridge that could kill anyone. So, she would blame herself if Izumida were to die trying to rescue her when she already has everything under control.

tl;dr - She wants Izumida's cock while he's still alive.

Oyuki's 'delusions' were just depressing. And haha the bugs are still around because this anime only knows how to be cynical.

Major missed opportunity to show Ryoko's insecurities. I find it really hard to believe that people who are that narcistic aren't harboring deep insecurities about their self image. Judging from her dream sequences she cried not because she feared for Izumida's life but because she was insecure about being rejected by him. Which would suitably play into her insecurity in general IF they had bothered to give him more a backbone and not characterize him as a lap dog.
