Well this was a pleasant surprise from episode 1, way more fights and a lot of bloody scenes.
RIP Valentine brothers, at least Luke made Alucard enjoy himself to the point where he wanted to show his true vampire skills ... which were frightening.

Already enjoying this way more than the TV series aswell.

Great episode as expected the fight Between Look and Alucard was marvelous but as for Alex death Was much better in the previous anime to be honest, Seras went berserk for a moment.

I have to admit this episode was better than the previous, without a doubt. I'm intrigued in the story but I'm hesitant to say it was a 10/10 masterpiece episode like so many others in this thread. I'd say this show is getting a solid 7/10 or 8/10 from me so far ^ I'm interested to see where it goes, though.

Nope, nope, nope... JUST NOPE.

Maybe I'm too obsessed with TV series but this whole attack led by Valentine brothers seemed to me far more duller and not that awesome as in old Hellsing... Why did they destroy the gate with guns? Destroying it with the bus was so much better in my eyes. - Plus I liked that joke they made about bus and tourists.

Plus I can't stand what they did to Integra. In TV series she was so cool and strong and brave, yet elegant, just the true head of Hellsing family... Here we are now; a woman who is getting too emotional hugs Seras (I just feel like Integra from TV series wouldn't accept any physical contact and she's probably trying to avoid touches from other people.) and nearly cries when she has to shoot her men turned into ghouls...

And I'm not even mentioning what they did with Viktoria... In TV series she had a brain and some kind of character... Now she's just boobs & booty (That scene where she was falling from the ceiling was just one big FANSERVICE.), plus totally dumb-ass clumsy annoying girl... But then she suddenly turns into killing machine even though she hasn't drink human blood so far. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i agree plus the scene where integra and alucard meet (basement) was soo much better in the tv series, the two ovas where so fast paced :/ we know a manga has different pace but taking that speed to tell things into the anime adaptation will only harm the development :s

I'm really glad that there is someone who agrees with me because the beginning of this OVA made me really mad and kinda annoyed.

Anyway, another entertaining episode. I love the style and the scene with Walter was badass.

I have to dissagree on the last bit. I liked the distant and independent part of her in the original and I also like how Ultimate is giving her more action scenes. She's awesome in both. She was my favourite character in the original and I'm pretty sure that it will be the same in Ultimate. Alucard is close second favourite, of course.

Same. In both series I just couldn't wait for him to get killed. Turned the volume down everytime he started talking. The guy seriously needs to wash out his mouth. With bleach, soap is not enough.

Actually this episode was a little better than the 1st one but tbe pacing still feels rushed. We got some hints to Alucard's past. The fight scene with Luke Valentine was real good with Alucard revealing his monstrous form.

Damn so the Nazis are behind this shit.

1st second that I heard the voice of Luke Valentine I knew it was Dio's Brando voice actor (Koyasu Takehito), so epic! Episode was amazing, full of blood and good fights, just like in the manga!

Very good stuff. Jan was a riot, being edgy and based in each scene. Luke was cool to watch. Walt slayed like a boss and the tension was impeccable. The animation was like ambrosia the whole time. Alucard was very based and awesome as he was fearsome. The Star Wars reference was funny and I'm very hyped for rest of the series
