I'm also not into edgelords probably there might be one or two of my favourites like Motoko Kusanagi and Makishima Shogo but overall I think the character must have a good characterisation, I don't care about the type of character development that new seinen fans love about turning from a ruthless, heartless killer to a kind hearted person
