| Im pretty sure everyone here is going to fall for the overrated miki. My vote goes to Chihaya she is the only idol with an interesting character she is not so bright and cliche like the rest of them honestly if she was not in the show i would probably have a hard time dealing with this show. Im curious about Chihaya background why she is living alone, where her family is, and so on. The others hold no significance like she does i hope she gets a chance to get solo time and we fined out more about her. Chihaya #1 |
| Miki was my favorite at first, but she's gotten pretty annoying lately. I still really like her though. I think Chihaya's great too. I also love the twins, and Haruka's cool too. Gaahh, I can't pick! |

| I liked Miki at first, but she's gotten worse over time. Episode 12 made me dislike her a little. Episode 13 made me like her again, but episode 14-15 made me dislike her yet again. I just think that she's taking the job too lightly. She doesn't really care what the consequences of her actions are. Like ditching practice in episode 12 and calling producer honey in public. Fanboys wil rage lol. That said, my favorites are Yayoi, Takane, Makoto and Chihaya. I really like Haruka too, but she hasn't really been that outstanding during the series. Yukiho is growing on me. |

That's why I said in ep discussion that Miki was acting unprofessional, flirting with the producer will make otaku rage into oblivion, they don't want you dating men or even thinking of dating men. Idols lose fans by showing attraction to men especially on stage. Favorites: Iori, Yayoi, Azusa, Yukiho, and Hibiki with Chihaya growing on me since Haruka made her dere up a bit. |

| Hibiki and haruka , Chihaya has started growing on me, but all in all, i love all the idols, except for ritsuko (not that i dislike her, just that i havent seen much of her in the show ._.) And yeah, no hibiki in the poll T.T |

| Miki is awfully popular. I don't hate her or anything but she has a really annoying flighty personality. One moment she's ready to quit the group for very shallow and selfish reasons and the next, she wants to help out the best she can. I don't like how she manages to steal the spotlight. Miki has saved the gang what? Three times already. There are other idols who needs screen time too... My favorite is Takane. Her aloof personality with her poignant wisdom makes her a joy to always watch. She always has something helpful to say in such an intelligent and profound manner. I wish the anime would take time to focus more on her, because I would love to know more about the mysterious beauty. I love her voice as well. Chihaya is another favorite. While many call her "emo", I appreciate her passion for music. She doesn't want to become a run-of-the-mill pop star. Chihaya also has the most powerful voice of the group in my opinion, which suits her character very well. I hope we get to see her back story soon. |

| I chose Chihaya, mainly because she's the type of character I tend to like. Serious and passionate toward music, and the reasons why she sings the way she does is another plus to her character (I spoiled myself by watching youtube videos of the Idolm@ster game). |

| T.T I don't see Hibiki on the list, SHE'S my favorite! She's adorable, and she has the most versatile singing voice I've ever heard! Well, spare her, another of my favorites is Makoto, she's just incredible. XD I also like Iori.... 0.0 But mainly because I have a weaknesses for tsunderes... and Rie Kugimiya characters. So, of these, since I don't see Hibiki, I pick Makoto. |

| I have to say after episode 20, Chihaya is the best character in terms of depth for the show, the constant hints at her troubled past during each of the episodes kept me wondering throughout the show. In terms of the idols singing talent, I have to split the decision between chihaya and takane, both are pretty good singing voices that aren't too high pitched, but are also easier to listen to in my opinion. |

| Well first of all I sincerely apologize to all the Hibiki fans out there for missing out on her as I repeated Haruka so I'm really sorry and I must agree that after episode 23, Miki's ranking is very likely to drop and that as of now, my favorite is Chihaya and again I'm very sorry :( |

While Miki was not my favorite character, she was still pretty likable to some extent to me, or maybe I was more stunned by her Marionette no Kokoro than her personality. To me, Chihaya was always, and still is, my favorite character. I prefer hard-working, serious, and talented people over those who simply started off being talented without even bothering to put much effort at all. Second favorite would probably be Takane, and thanks to episode 23, 3rd might be Haruka. |

| Its a tough pick between Haruka and Miki. Miki is just outgoing and funny with the whole "Honey" thing. But haruka is so positive and i love it. I think its a tie really =/ |
