DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I was about to post something beginning with wtf in capitals, followed by an explanation of my misunderstanding... However I descided to check the forums first and an "out-of-order, but still as intended" is a good enough explanation ^^ Am considering a chronological re-watch already... after I finish the series that is... Anyways, Yuki is awesome in this episode! |

| omg hahaha just watching the comments here is so much fun! xD i'm watching it in broadcast order anywayz, cause I think that's the main reason why this show is special! otherwise I would ruin the magic of it.. I was like wtf too at first, but then i just went with the flow. the baseball game was hillarious, loved it to bits!! and left me wondering about lots of things, which i guess I will piece together later! :) |

| I'm re-watching this series in chronological order. This is the episode where Nagato shows who's boss! Also we get some more info from the future and some development on the story. I wonder how will the episodes of season 2 fit or contribute with new information. Anyway this is the point where I realized I'm enjoying this episodes much more now. |

| Its so cute in the episode when mikuru and haruhi change into cheerleading outfits. Haruhi tells mikuru her hair would look better in a ponytail but after remembering kyon likes them, she takes it off of mikuru. |

| Was the Baseball Ep for me :) I enjoyed this episode a lot since I'm a big fan of sports anime and Haruhi/Mikuru in cheerleader outfits ^^. We get a display on some of Yuki's powers and everyone seems to have been through a life-changing experience that we have yet to see? I'll probably understand everything by the end, it's only 14. |

| It is endlessly amusing how confused people were in this thread. Anyway, this was an extremely well done episode. Particularly the fight scene and adult Mikuru's appearance, who seems to be much more likable than her younger counterpart for some reason. And, lol at Haruhi literally dragging Kyon down the hall. |

| I guess I'm gonna watch this in out-of-order mode, but I really didn't get much of what happened in this episode. But I guess that at least the mystery takes a better role this way. |

| I'm watching this in chronological order and still don't understand whats going on. So is this entire world just something created by Haruhi? Is she God? And can Haruhi hear whatever the narrator is thinking because more than one she replied back to his thoughts........I'm so confused!!!!!!!!! |

| Wut. That girl just tried to kill Kyon, and then there was a crazy battle between her and Nagato. I swear it gets more strange every episode. And seems like Mikuru and Kyon had a "past" (past in terms of Mikuru's time). Inteeeresting. o_o |

| I don't get the out-of-order confusion other people are having. Not sure if this problem is still present or it just depends on which anime site you're using. Anyways, Haruhi supposedly has godly powers, and Kyon's fellow club members are all actually supernatural beings. Dafuq is going on? |
| The out-of-order confusion is because there are at least 4 orders. Original broadcast order ("kyon"), chronological for season one ("haruhi") chronologically across both seasons (2009 broadcast order) and finally the DVD order which features episode 00 as first one so all episodes are shifted by one compared to the "haruhi" order. Just take a look at the Wikipedia article. And then some people probably watch it totally random because they have no idea where they are at now.. And i agree, the comments, which are more about the order than what happend itself are a really good additiion to the weirdness of the actual series. |
