| This is such a classic freakin' episode! I still say that this might be the coolest kamehameha of the whole series. Or, it's at least the best presented. Fun fact: "Kamehameha" in Japanese literally translates to "Turtle Destruction Wave" Toriyama came up with the idea for a powerful "kame" attack to go with the turtle theme, but it was actually his wife who suggested the name "kamehameha" to him, saying that it would be easy to remember, since it was the name of an ancient Hawaiian king. Although in Hawaiian, "kamehameha" translates to "the very lonely one" or "the one set apart". |

Being able to destroy a mountain and destroying a small car are things of slightly different scale :) Goku still has a way to go. Still, apparently being able to destroy a car is already impressive enough for Roshi to offer being Goku's teacher. |

| Loving this show. I watched DBZ as kid but finally I'm watching the original and its so enjoyable. Reminds me of classic one piece. At the end this has the potential to be one of my favorite animes due to the adventurous feel. |
