At the end of the episode, we see

As said in the review by miposukie, they state
"it feels completely redundant. Its placement in relation to the main series also confuses me. Chronologically speaking, it is situated right after the Zabuza arc and right before the first Chuunin exam."

I probably just wanted to correct miposukie? I don't know

well anyways, someone had to say it in the review to not watch it until a certain episode....

Forgot to question, my question is, why, would they make it that far before the introduction of

now I'm wondering, why did I even watch this in the first place?
this was probably the most pointless thing to watch in the whole Naruto franchise, and that's saying a lot, coming from someone who has watched every single thing there is to watch in Naruto 💀
I just like to think I haven't watched this at all😃

I think this was released around the time Naruto Storm 1 or the Ultimate ninja series was a thing, That's why it makes no sense canonically.
But perhaps it was a game promotional episode.
