Some of the (optional) series I have not included in the above order (Watch these ones only if you want to. These are not that great and so if you watch to skip them, feel free to do that -- the above order is complete in itself and enough to watch to understand the story):--
1. Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files (Special + 1 Season + Special). Watch b/w #1 & #2.
This one is kind of a sequel from Fate/Zero with Waver Velvet as the main character, so you can watch it if you like, right after #1.
2. Fate/Stay Night (2006) (25 Episodes). Watch b/w #3 & #4
This is the original Stay Night visual novel series, that has retro-anime art style, average animations, and an average storyline. Die-hard Fate fans will say watch this one first (even before Fate/Zero), as this was the first fate anime, in order of release. But trust me, this is the worst route out of all the three Stay Night routes (the other two being Unlimited Blade Works & Heaven's Feel). So, watch this only after completing the main storyline.

3. Fate/Kalied Liner Prisma Illya
Watch b/w #3 & #4
This is a spinoff from the Stay Night franchise, with Illyasveil von Einsbern as the main character. It has about a billion seasons and a million movies and I don't the correct order for this one -- I only know where to start and when to start......I think just follow the order given on MAL.
