I love reading these, it makes the yugioh monster's seem like they exist in their own little world. I wish we could see so much more of this world. I appreciate the ones who don't just have generic descriptions but ones that describe their role in the world of Duel Monsters. And makes even the weakest of monsters feel like they play an important role.  I like to imagine all these creatures inhabit some vast Zelda-esque world where each type inhabits it's own natural habitat or a specific country/town. It's all one story and the card text is a preview of what happens in this world.

Like Dragon Dwelling in the Cave, who's described as guarding some sort of ancient treasure. Guardian of the Labyrinth who's described as being the gatekeeper of the netherworld.

Flame Manipulator is a random spellcaster who's lore describes what his attacks are.

Or ones that give a history on who they are. Like how a generic samurai warrior named Masaki is allegedly the victor of over 100 battles.
My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

My favorite is Warrior of Zera.

There are many other cards with "Zera" in the name or with pictures of its warrior, though none are normal monsters.

I'm also fond of the Inpachi series.

Alligator Sword, obviously
It probably has the most fan servicey flavor text ever, and the fact that it’s made so it sounds like Joey is telling you about it will never not be hilarious

My favorite is Wattaildragon. The reason for me liking it so much is because they reference the monster's stats in it's flavor text, saying that capturing one is a "level 6" offense according to the "Ancient Rules" (another card), and the sentence is imprisonment for "2500" Heliocycles.
