| The light novel is still ongoing, and the author think this arc (Unital Ring) is the last one. Maybe they are waiting for the LN to end in order to do something like Alicization Arc. The next arc after Alicization Arc is Moon Cladle Arc, which can be adapted in a single season of 12 episodes (aka Season 4 or 5 if you consider Alicization and Alicization WoU as two separate seasons) |
