| In the anime, not really. He lost to Atem in both their first and second duel, although the Duelist Kingdom duel only happened in the anime. Then he lost the duel against Yugi during the World of Memory arc. His other duels involved beating Ghost Kotsuzuka, losing to Yami Marik, and having an unresolved duel with Kaiba in the anime. So his dueling record was crap. The only thing he was good at was planning ahead since he implanted a bit of his soul into the Millennium Puzzle, thereby setting up future events. Also in the manga he had been working on the Shadow RPG since Battle City, so that subplot was foreshadowed way ahead of time. |
| Bakura himself, not really. But i like how he's a presence through the whole series. I like the concept of an arc villain and a seperate villain acting independently throughout. Especially how he often goes after the other villains. |
