So, while watching the series, I can see it being adapted as a point-n-click game in which you ask people around, looking for clues and solve mysteries on the top given to you.

Player would be controlling Oreki in a 3D-esque environment and go around interrogate people around. You have choice of responses and see where that gets you.

Would you play a game like that based on Hyouka?

The plot of Hyouka is quite suitable to be adapted into VN, but the character line and amount of content may not be enough

Well tbf there are some really short VNs out there, so I don’t think that would be too big of a problem.

This is one of the best threads I've ever read.

YES, I would absolutely play a Point and Click or a VN based on the Kotenbu tales.

idk, the thing is the MC has a exceptional deduction skill.
is not ony just go out and finding clue.

You can see on several ocassion how they solve the problem, they gather all the theories, exlcude part that does bot fit filter and combine all the theories. And then it finishes by the MC deduction skill.

I am pretty sure there is already game that has same mechanics, but not point-n-click.
