Why do people think this is better than toradora

I can't see it , I just can't.....it's good but not on toradoras level
Oka-chi and mitsuo didn't even have there episodes to resolve shit

I like both, I think both is near perfect and I may like toradora more, but golden time handles romance perfectly. The characters aren’t as memorable but the situations and the fact that there all in collage makes the romance feel more real.

It was a more accurate representation of an adult romance and we never get that in anime. Toradora was great too don’t get me wrong, but it didn’t feel very different than other high school romance shows. If Toradora was in college where there are different experiences and cool situations it would probably be better

Toradora is boring because there is basically no stakes compared to golden time (even if the stakes in golden time aren’t revealed till later in the series)

if you like something then you like that more than the other one. people just have their own romance taste. and i like this anime more than toradora because its my romance type. im not saying this anime is better than toradora but i like this better than toradora. my own opinion

there very similar anime in genre and quality but yet they appeal to two different groups of people so really not one is better then the other it just depends on what appeals to you more

I have so many problems with Golden Time.. Everyone says it was more realistic but c’mon.. There were so many plot holes and a lot of things just felt so silly it was unbearable. Toradora had silly moments too but at least the main pair had chemistry and the supporting characters were memorable. Can anyone seriously remember anything about the side characters in Golden Time? Cause I can’t lmao

Well kaga and minorin has the same godly VA anyways. Both best girl in their respective anime. Both anime has OPs and EDs from the Goddess Horie Yui. So they are the same in my eyes

Bc there aren’t as many popular adult romance anime, but golden time Is deserving of its praise. Toradoras amazing too but it’s different, being a more exaggerated, comedic rom com whereas golden time is more dramatic and realistic.

I think any slice of life/drama/romance that doesn’t happen in high school automatically gets an extra point or two.

Even with that leg up, Toradora is head & shoulders above Golden Time. Objectively it has better production. Better music & animation, stronger characters, better comedy. There’s no competition.

toradora has the most annoying female character and it was boreeee dropped at 8th episode overrated as hell meanwhile golden time pacing wise and rom wise did better job

Because Golden Time has no violent tsundere which is a big plus than Toradora and the former has college settings which is more refreshing to see than the usual school one.

Plot-wise, both have their own uniqueness but personally I prefer Golden Time.
