| Been quite some years since i finished it but i always liked it. The first season more than the 2nd one and Revy was a favorite of mine. I actually plan on reading the manga. Already have it downloaded just haven’t gotten to it yet. I prefer “Jormungand” though and you should give it a try honestly |

| for me it's one of my favs and i think it's amazing because there's nothing like it plus it has a great female caste and this is one of those series where the the dub is far better than the sub |

| Probably one of the few Animes I binged from start to finish in one sitting. I loved this series and I am sad there isn't more from Black Lagoon. |

| Old fart here. I'm not that much into actions films and animes in particular, especially not the stream of shonen neverending and talkative fights. But this is pretty good: the pace and direction is great and the show really depicts gangsters in action. The south pacific context is a good choice and the show, even if there's plenty of nice and quick fights, is above all about atmosphere and character relationships. The characters are not good guys disguised as bad ones: they are real bandits who usually will not go out of their way to help anybody but themselves, only circumstances sometimes force them to do so. Revy is not a nice good-looking chick with guns, she can be very creepy (like in the submarine). It's a very lively show when you probably just always expect the worst from every character. |
