No imho, read the manga instead. The anime lacks a proper ending (it was made while the manga was still ongoing). On top of that I think it's one of the few anime with no good voice acting, and also the visual part is not that good; the ost kicks ass tho. Anyway the manga is completed, long but fast to read and way better. Just so you know, it's quite gory (the anime not so much)

I would definitely say to read the manga at some point but in my opinion the manga kind of has a unique/older art style ( I don’t really know how to describe it ) that took me a bit to get used to and watching the anime helped me with that but yeah if you want to get the full experience definitely read the manga

I thinks it’s a good show, lacks a proper ending tho, would have loved to see it get animated. The story is thrilling especially halfway in and the relationships between characters are really nice, that being said it’s also an older style anime, meaning that half and episode may be spent recapping what happened in the previous.

I’m half way thro! But im fully engrossed!! Its a great, captivating anime imo.
Still, not a lot of anime watchers love it(idk tbh), so you should check it out and see :)

It’s one of those shows you want to keep watching even though you might not know why. It’s good, I like it. People are saying it doesn’t come to completion, and that’s true, and I doubt a second season is gonna happen at this point. But I’d say go for it. If you like tough girls with big swords, this is your show.

I haven't read much manga in like a decade so I haven't read Claymore, but I'm really enjoying the anime. I felt like it was a little slow at first (stopped at episode 2 and didn't watch anymore for like 4 months) but I've been hooked for a while. Looking forward to watching it every day when I come home from work haha. I'd give it a shot if you like action/adventure, fantasy, medieval settings, etc. I'm pretty sure you'd at least enjoy it, unless you're really picky.

I'd recommend to read the manga instead, the anime doesn't cover all the chapters of the manga and have a different ending. In my opinion the manga's ending was much better.

Absolutely watch it if you like action or shounen in general. Even though ending is catastrophical, the adaptation is still excellent. They simply nailed the atmosphere, the music, I can't get tired of the sound effects coming from this anime. It has that unique style and feel that makes it special from other anime in my opinion. I really do think it's worth a watch, and if you get hooked in, read the manga please after you finish the anime. Manga blew my mind when I finished reading it. That's all I'm going to say.

You might be annoyed by the main protag but for the most part I highly recommend it if you like action.

Like what someone said above, you should check out the manga too because the anime wasn't adapted correctly. It's still good imo.

I like it, it's got a good story and it's interesting all the way through, the action is good albeit a little over the top sometimes.
I honestly think it's worth the watch.

The manga is much more superior than the anime. But despite its inferiority, I would still recommend anyone to watch the anime. The is good even with the terrible ending. In addition, the OST is great.

Some of the most iconic dark fantasy series like Berserk (2016),Claymore( my opinion), Pandora Hearts have terrible adaptation. D-Gray Man is the best adaptation that I saw, but the manga is still better.Thats why just read the manga instead

I personally dislike the manga style a bit, but I love everything else about it, so I wish the show kept going. Too bad it seems, but it's great and doesn't take that long to watch so why not

It deserves a watch either you love it for what it is vs the manga or it's just okay either way you should try it. If you enjoy Berserk or Black Lagoon it carries that same ruthless grim tone that they set you will get added value from that premise if you are looking for a void to fill.

Watch it but be aware that since they were ahead of manga they made out their own ending so eveything after ep 19 take it with a grain of salt or maybe just move to manga afterwards
