| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Cute show. Hina sold me with her character reactions from the first episode by her adorable reactions to the sea creature. Obviously, there's fishing themes in this anime so that's where Natsumi comes in. Makoto (the glasses girl) also joins the cast with her appearance in this episode. And honestly, I think this is a fairly simple slice of life anime with cute girls. |

| Well Hina being scared of the octopus she was fishing was funny and her reaction to those criters was nice as well. The fact that she was forced into a club wasn't nice but i guess it's part of the story. For now things seem nice. |
| Pretty cute first episode. Some gold reactions from Hina in fright of bugs and octopus, lol. Quite the dirty move from the Pres forcing her to at least give the Club a shot but we've seen similar tricks in the past in other shows so it's kind of like tradition by now for many. And then a few classmates bickering on the Club behind backs, how many times have we seen that? Natsumi-chan seems like a really nice girl though and Oono-senpai the composed beauty of the bunch. Character interactions seemed fairly nice. Op (or ED, was it) at the end of the episode was pretty chill and relaxing to hear, and likewise for a few of the soundtracks that kept us company. Can't say I'm sold just yet but it was certainly a fun watch. I really can't stand fish either irl so it might not hit home for me as much but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless. |

| As someone who got dragged around by their dad to go fishing a lot as a kid and still not a fan of it, I can relate quite a bit to Hina's reactions this episode. Show itself feels like something is missing. It wasn't particularly funny nor was exactly 'cute'. |

| Natsumi is pretty much my idea of how Naru from Barakamon might turn out once she's in high school. (And given her character design I think that's pretty intentional). |

| I don't give a damn about fishing, but this series seems to be extremely fun. Awesome direction. Can't wait for more. Second great series by Doga Kobo this season. And that OP song!! (and btw another series saved by Muse Asia). |

| So this is Doga Kobo’s other show this season. As usual really beautifully drawn and great visuals, likeable characters and a relaxing story that keeps you watching. I also love how their shows usually revolve around hobbies, so I’ll be able to learn about fishing Hina’s really cute too After the last few domekano chapters I need something to cheer me up and this should do the trick |

| bruh Doga going all out keeping busy this season , this is good civilisation i enjoyed it a lot i had not looked into it much since it looked like a short ,if Yuru Camp is the comfy of camping this is my comfy of fishing though i can't say that much for Hina looks like shes gonna suffer for a while till she gets used to it |

| Hina meet her old sweetheart. And Natsumi throw herself in Hinas arms. Awwww I think they are lesbian lovebirds,and they are so damn cute together,,YEEEEEEEES! And I think its good for Hina to do some fishing. She is oversensitive and some blood and fish guts will do her good in the end Imo the first episode was great and have strong Yuri vibes, Cmon Doga Kobo give me that lesbian kiss I desire the most I give it 7/10 awesome start  |
