| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I think this episode is more about saving Lisa from destroying herself than just winning some fight. Seems this arc is aiming for emotional impact. About time Lisa finally came back to her old self though. Vulcan and his captain had a clever plan. Shrina's fight this episode was pretty flashy. Then again, it's the type of fight I was expecting to see at this point in the show now. |

Lisa is clearly brainwashed like im sure Giovanni is the one that killed her parents anyway  and wow that 3DCG environment and camera work on that sakuga battle of Sho and Shinra was fucking cool and there it is did Shinra's mom became a fire demon? and the link between the bugs and fire is here too lol the firebugs |
| The Adolla Link crazy trip was a god tier adaptation, one of the few instances where the anime medium really improved on the manga while still maintaining the unsettling feeling. Sadly, the way Sho moves in the manga it's impossible to translate in anime form, but they at least provided some cool effects for when the "time stop" happens |

| This show is such a visual spectacle that goes beyond the amazing animation, I love it! As well as my weekly dose of cute Lisa <3. I know it was a serious moment but damn, she's thicc. God damn it, not the hair. Giovanni you son of a bitch! Either way she's going to look gorgeous but still, the long hair... The second half was... wow! |

| Couldn't someone at least get a punch on Dr. Giovanni's mouth before this season is over. Is that too much too ask. Be as evil as you want, but his smugness is killing me. Poor Lisa, so cute and sexy but oh so terribly brainwashed. I hope she can snap out of it. |

| This episode felt so short! Guess when it gets too good, it goes away faster :( Lisa can't keep up like this :( She was almost killed by Giovanni and doesn't think of him as the villain...not good. Sho is also brainwashed! How will Shinra do to open his brother's eyes? >.> |

| Don't mess with Captain Obi! Poor Lisa though, she's brainwashed to the core :( I am glad she's alright for now. The hair though, the long hair looked so good on her, she still looks wondeful with shorter hair though, but long hair > short hair anytime when it's red. That whole Shinra and the Adolla Link sequence was somehow creepy but really great. The scene following that, Shinra vs Sho was epic, I loved that! The more I see Giovanni, the more I wish something bad will happen to him. The sooner the better! |

| This episode was beautiful. Giovanni is a very weird creature. The fight between Sho and Shinra was super well animated. I loved it a lot. |

| Not surprising that Giovanni got away. I was surprised when Lisa/Feeler still tried to call out to him at the end. That was some amazing animation with Shinra vs Sho. |

| Now, that was the episode I've been waiting for. So much to talk about… 1. Epic battle scene. This feels like it's from another anime entirely, but in a good way. 2. This episode was super creepy. Thanks, Giovanni. 3. I'm really starting to like Licht. 4. No opening cinematic. I guess they've gone through the whole story twice and ran out of lore. 5. "LISA?!" Straight-up wtf booty shot. |
| The plot in this episode was full of cheese, especially the Vulcan/Lisa parts. But the animation was amazing as always. I kinda like Sho, I hope he beats Shinra to death. Wishful thinking though, huh! |

| People will watch fights like Sho v Shinra and still try to call Fire Force mid lmao, fuck outta here. That animation was Kakashi v Obito levels of sasuka. Great ep, best girl Lisa was just as cute as I envisioned months back, 3 more eps to go and even though it's getting colder outside, it's heating up here. |

| knew they weren't gonna disappoint with sho's fight it was wild and we hardly saw it, Adolla brust keeps getting stranger and stranger ^ yeah Giovanni's got real dumb out of no where at least Obi was the one character that wasn't going to reveal his secret but ended up getting it told anyway glad is Lisa is kinda safe? | Yo anyone know how to read jap and figure out if there was some episode director or key animator or something else that stood out? after having a kinda lackluster season we get this fight with sho and shinra. we all know "why" this ep is hype but do we know "who" made it hype? |
 Sometimes you just gotta realize that you can't watch every anime you want to. The struggle is far too real for that. |
| Please, someone give these people their fucking feet back. This is one of those weird ass shounen things like shark teeth that I'll never like. Anyways, this shit with Lisa was pretty generic, and the fan service was as poorly placed as ever. Can't say either the stuff with her or Sho was very impactful from a narrative point. Just box-standard shounen. The fight had a very unique animation, and had good moments, but I wouldn't say it's anything close to the ufotable stuff. It was largely high quality moments padded with regular normal animation. This level of freak out with KnY or UBW, or that Black Fox trailer I'd get, but this one seems like a severe overreaction to me. |

| Getting Lisa back from the manipulative Dr. Giovanni isn't easy, but Vulcan and Captain Obi tried their best. And it's the same old Shounen cliche with the same amount of good animation with mixed comedic effect. As for Shinra, establishing the Adolla Burst Link with his Evangelist brother Sho, as well as seeing him for the first time in ages. A fire-foot wielder vs. a time stopper, that even Licht has found out his secret: the theory of relativity in both time and universe. The 1st half was meh, but the 2nd half was on fire. Words of the fight between brothers Sho and Shinra can't be matched, as proven in the above-average animation. |

Adolla Link  It displays - the devil from the fire 12 years ago - Company 1 Captain, Leonard Burns after save Shinra - Company 4 Captain, Soichiro Hague, the man with the scar on left eye I wonder if they will end the season with Fire 12 years ago backstory. and we won't get in this season |

| I have mixed feelings.... anime girls with shorter hair usually look good, but Lisa with long hair was just.. Well, anyways. The fight scenes between Shin and Shou were frigging dope. Interesting shot composition with some decent sakuga inbetween. Then there were also the trippy visuals during Shin's flashback, I liked that a lot. | Great episode - Shinra and Sho fighting wasn't what I expected. Lisa finally got saved - hopefully, she sees how much Vulcan cares about her. He and Obi had a great plan. I can't wait for the next episode. |
| God, that final battle there was a peach to watch! Animation has always been this show's greatest asset but it went clearly far beyond the amazing animation tier here! And those witty effects such as with devil footsteps, shadow effects and the slow-mo plus the ost to hype it up, brilliant stuff! I've seen many people compare it to the likes of Episode 19 of KnY and I totally approve although no doubt that's just about a league higher imo. Anyways, a lot of mystery thickening regarding the Adolla Burst and whatnot this episode, thanks Giovanni lol. Sho on about being on "another Universe" is highly curious-striking indeed as well, can't deny he sure did seem like he was quite literally. All that steam though, could it just be he just moves ultra fast to the point where he generates steam or something? I feel like that's a bit off though considering they're somehow absorbed(?) into an Adolla link now. Just who is this "Evangelist" yikes? Condolences to that scientist btw, he was totally helpless there xD. Ulterior motives from his part confirmed yet again, meanwhile. Got to say, that whole "fool Giovanni" bit was just ridiculous. Aren't you supposed to order him to blow off Captain Obi's head ffs? Good thing Lisa is safe though and there were some nice very pleasing romantic moments between the two. Pity that her long hair is gone now. Also brainwashed, yeah we could smell that from a long way. Giovanni sparing Obi and the others is seriously going to bite later... Anyways, we're finally getting into the meat of things now. Curious to see where this is going with the final stride in this season! |
