| This transition between the online world and the real world is a sight to see. The focus on Asuna this time, and what is the situation in the real world, what happened to Kirito irl, where is he being kept, how is Asuna dealing with the situation, this is really crucial for the development. I really like the direction this is taking and the pacing of this show. Really well done. Next week, a major point of this series' core: The Alicization Project. With the past 5 episodes that already came out, i can already expect a superb explanation of all of this. Let's go! On a side note: Badass waifu Asuna was so awesome to see. Well played there! |

| It was fine, enjoyed seeing more of Suguha and Asuna for the first time in a longer while. Seems like even the more useless members of Kirito's harem have some job to fulfill, so that's something. Let's be honest though, Asuna's reveal was not in top 5 plot twists of the year xD Well, it's still quite enjoyable to watch, so I won't complain too much. I'd rather go back to fantasy world soon though!  |

| I enjoyed this episode somehow because of the fact that they were investigating nearly exactly that place where I technically stood at the pacific ocean for the first time: The Hinode pier right next to the Hinode pier ware houses. I was driving with my bicycle and was on my way to Rainbow bridge and I wanted to find a clue where exactly the entrance to the bridge is. So I ended up at the Hinode pier because there the gates to the area were open and I was able to take a better look than within the confusing streets nearby. Also the area where Asuna and Kirito were attacked I was visiting another day later the year. I wanted to see a shrine in Setagaya area and after that I was cycling to the Tama river and spent some time there in the sun. It was the Tamagawa Futako bridge park and Kiritos Hospital was 1 km (for a cyclist thats nothing) down the river. So they must live somewhere in that area. ^^ While they were talking insode the Elf game they even mentioned my hometown when I lived in Tokyo area! The hospital, were Kririto should have taken in later, where Asuna was waiting, is in Tokorozawa next to the aviation memorial park. Right next to it my landlady had her office and I know the area pretty well! =D Felt nice to see/hear those places out of the blue in an episode. ^^ What a coincidence … |

| -Very welcome change of pace to get us to speed as to what's been happening in the real world. Shit is getting real. -Nice sleuthing in an investigative mystery episode. Kirito having a tracker embedded in him made the hunt much more convenient than it should have been, but at least it was introduced at the beginning and had a sensible justification at the time. -Kikuoka kidnapping Kirito. Tsk tsk. Anticipating to discover the truth behind the conspiracy and secrecy. Perhaps they're playing God and they need Kirito to intervene in order to prevent their created world from destroying itself or something lol. There was plenty of mention regarding how real things seemed and how human the people in that virtual world are. -Damn, go Asuna! |

| This season starts very well. I like the combination of RL and VR, but maybe this time there is more to it. I'm curious what the island/turtle and the project are all about. On the other hand, I very much hope that kirito's whole lame haarem will not make it back into the game. |

| Kirito has to go to the hospital because of the Death Gun incident but when he needs to get transfered to a better equipped facility, Mr. Kikuoka essentially kidnaps him without informing anyone. Using information gathered from a combination of Kirito and Yui, Asuna contacts the women who helped develop the medicuboid alongside Kayaba. Asuna and the women fly to the lab in the middle of the ocean called the ocean turtle and confront Mr. Kikuoka. Pretty slow episode, but interesting nonetheless. I like how the story is progressing not only in the real world, but in the virtual one as well. Time to keep watching. |

| I like that they are showing us what's happening in the real world. I still don't get how that criminal passed out from that umbrella. I don't like this, Kikuoka was supposed to be the best friend, why did he do this. Wasn't he supposed to keep Kirito safe? There has to be something important and based on the title of the next episode, we'll probably get the answers and Kikuoka will turn out to be a good guy! |
