| At least 8 or 9 of them. My favorite character's VN took over 10 years to be translated, so yeah. Its getting easier to get translations for games than it was in the days. | Yes, Palette added all types of region locks to their games. If you windows wasnt set in japanese locale, if your time zone was wrong, if your location was wrong...tough luck installing a game of theirs. And most anti-region-lock patches were full of viruses or ineffective. Next person has heard of Interactive Text Hooker or Translation Aggregator. |

| Huh... I've never had that though, and my computer isn't Japan-oriented in any way. I played 9-nine- a while back and it worked ._. yep, I've been using a setup where a tool called Textractor takes the dialogue, then a chrome extension automatically translates it with DeepL and sends it back to Textractor, which then displays the translated text in a box. It's a bit of a weird setup but it works amazingly. Next person prefers kinetic novels over traditional VNs with choices |
