After all these months, I still got stuck at the third volume... (might as well just wait for the 2nd season). What's there not to like about it >__>
Saki is ecchi? O___O Maybe my middle-school's brain couldn't comprehend what's ecchi and what's not (or my memory is fading).

Right? And to be honest I'd also take good character developments and interactions over anything, even if some plot is sacrificed. But I guess a lot of people disagree, considering so many popular anime on MAL (of course not all of them) have a good plot but all the characters (especially female ones) are basically brainless NPCs...
