| Oh shit a real epic start to a promising arc. Most serious arcs in Gintama bore me the moment it is introduced, but not this time! (maybe bcos it's not even serious to begin with.) Hope it's a semi-serious arc that keeps up with the action comedy and doesn't fall flat like most other serious arcs. |

| This was a great episode. Ketsuno ana literally means asshole lol. I laughed so hard when shinpachi said "President, sorry to point out, but there's no blinds" xD I like the magic and spiritualism genre so I'm looking forward to this arc. |

| an arc building ep! the mom and dad fighting got me laughing hard. I knew the meaning of Ketsuno Ana so each time her name comes up in the series can't help but laugh at it |

| Everything that happened in this episode was so weird and out of nowhere, lol. So many new things, I didn't expect it. And it seems like she's not Ketsuno Ana, but a new character and an amazing one. I like Gedomaru and can't wait for her to recognize Gintoki. That intercom scene was hilarious and it also made me feel bad for the enemies. You can see that this is a serious arc in Gintama. |

| i remember really liking this arc the first time i watched it, and it’s still just as exciting. i can’t remember if i noticed the first time, but i think it’s cool that ketsuno ana explains a little about onmyodo. japanese mythology is probably one of my favourite genres depicted in fantasy anime and manga, it’s such a vast pool of lore to draw from. it works well with gintama, which is inherently referential but also blends fiction and reality to become something new and interesting as well. i have become 100x more sentimental about gintama since it ended, but because there is so much of the series it’s easy for me to rewatch and find something i didn’t notice in previous rewatches or things i straight up forgot even happened. |
