| Serious Madao episodes are always a pleasure to watch, it was really nice, although I didn't get emotional. I hope his mother knows the truth and judging from the ending, it seems like she does. |

| Stupid website refreshed the page on me since I voted on the poll that I loved it, so I have to rewrite my comment so to repeat myself: Damn, this was a good episode! It hones in on the more negative aspects of Hasegawa's character/life, which the series usually tends to do with him, but this was in a much more depressing and compelling way than usual. I was not expecting it. The sad subject matter is perfectly balanced with dark humor. This is one of the better "Gintama" episodes with a more serious tone (maybe even one of the best "Gintama" episodes overall I would even say). |
