| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting episode, it seems like allot happened during Kazuma's 4 years of exile, I wonder who that girl he kept thinking about is. I like Kazuma's style, how he always stay calm in an almost arrogant way like he knows just how superior he is compared to the rest of them. And the part where he asked how much they where willing to pay for Ren's rescue was just great xD The look on their faces^^ |

| the battles are too slow, there's too much standing around, they completely lack the fluidity that make them somewhat realistic and interesting and I can just feel the grandstanding monologues coming on. if this doesn't improve soon then its just going to be another failboat shounen title I wish I'd never bothered picking up :/ I'm expecting his pay to be like 1 yen or something, but who knows for sure. |

| Ehhh... Ayane's still annoying me. However, I find Kazuma quite intriguing. Looking forward to seeing more of his story, though I wish Ayane would do something about her irrational babbling and stupid temper. (She gets upset before anything has even happened... bleh.) |

| I think it gives Ayane some personality, and I don't find it annoying at all. The characters are pretty awesome in my opinion. I haven't watched an action anime like this in a long time so I'm happy. |

I can't take her seriously at all. -_- And don't get me started on all her nagging and prideful bickering when Ren's life is in danger. What a hypocrite. The Kannagi family needs better parenting techniques, seriously. |

| A tsundere just went deredere LOL. xD. Plot is moving pretty fast and seems solid. Hopefully this story has direction, and Kazuma is pretty badass, I wonder how he will soften. Nice episode |

| LOL, I love how they're using the flashback format to stuff we've never even seen yet! Fricking waste of time to actually explain the flashbacks, we'll just capitalize on their general aura for a few seconds and then move back to the plot! I'm not sure if this is genius-level narrative strategy or just dumb, I guess I'll find out soon enough. |

| Ayano is actually really annoying, acting like her clan is the greatest thing ever when really they are the source of a significant amount of problems. I was expecting this family arc to take up most of the series, but it looks like it'll get resolved fairly quick. So that's somewhat interesting. I wonder what else this series has in store? |
