| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, the action got better imo this episode. (I can't recall name of the OST they used for one of the battles though) Inaho with EYEPATCH fights alongside the Terrans against the Martians. It's funny while all this is going on that Asseleyum has little clue what's going on outside until later. And lol, that fake princes Lemrina points a gun at her. So damn predictable. Also as usual, I expected Inaho to use his logic and calculations to fight against the lightning mecha. Smart on his part though. Most noticeable part of the episode is probably the real princess Asseleyum trolling tricking Slaine by taking on Lemrina's form. Now I kinda didn't expect that.  Oh how this scene just look so damn familiar. |

Also on the topic of Inaho's strategy this time, I have to say I expected something like that since Slaine's duel with Marlycian where it was proven that Tharsis did very poorly with coordinated attacks from multiple adversaries. So no surprise for me there XD |

Well besides what I mentioned, how do you see this series ending? Hmmmm tough to say. With communications severed beyond close range channels, I can see the UFE more or less fragmenting after the war which would kind of revert the world scene to something closer to our current political map. The lack of supervision means there's a perfect opening for upstart leaders to start staking their plot in the world among the ruins of the failed invasion. So at the end of the day the Martians brought nothing but trouble with their stupid selfish war |

| The battle on the ground was epic indeed. Sadly seems Inaho is paying a greater price for going that far with the power of his eye. The confrontation with Asseylum went about as expected minus ACTUALLY shooting Slaine. She pretty much said he's no longer the Slaine she knew. So those who actually stupidly believed she would forgive Slaine and work with him can now quietly sink back into the shadows. Now to see what Cruhteo's son is going to do. |

Also it looks like for better or worse the chances for 3rd cour are high. Not gonna rant about it anymore though, no point. |

| Every single one being real explains really well how each one moved so fluidly in battle. Makes me curious on which one gets to stay and whether they care about being the first and real one. Slaine keeping the two princesses in his captive. Things aren't looking good for Slaine now that even with multiple Counts working together and still getting defeated. |

| Three main things: 1. The battles are so unimpressive now that they won't hold me any longer. 2. Finally Slaine reveals that he knows Asseylum didn't like it and he doesn't care. Good. Now if we can get rid of the stupid love plot altogether, that'd be perfect. Still no idea why he had to stop working with Lemrina though. Lemrina was ON BOARD with his plans. Guess the writers just wanted to give him a case of the permanent stupid on that front. 3. Cruteo's son, really? Looks like the potential spoiler info that seujair 2.0 posted is right, and we're headed for either far too much packed into a few episodes, or there's yet another season that will come. Honestly, I don't think I'll be back if there's more after this finale, unless the last episodes are impressive. This season started lame, gained traction, blew all of it, then tried to pick it up again for me. That kind of inconsistency won't hold me unless there's a strong finish. |
