| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, that's creepy... I mean, Midousuji and his psychotic face and tongue. This is reaching a whole new level of creepy in regards to his character. Overall a pretty consistent episode though in regards to the momentum. And lol, is that a blush? :P I'm also glad to see Manami getting more spotlight. |

| Midousuji's insults feels like compliments hidden behind cruel words <3 lol. Ishigaki understands Midousuji really well and it was awesome to see his determination! Makishima, no trust :( The ace climbers having to give in and up to the first-years! Midousuji is really awakening the monster hiding inside Manami. Manami's school life and with the Class President! All those lates and just sleeping in class too. Manami still having something up his sleeves, the skill that gives him all his confidence! Looking forward to whether or not Onoda becomes quite the dark horse! I actually don't find Midousuji creepy at all though, after that episode, how could I. Gross is something good, but not gross is something even better. His pure heart though he shows it in a slightly strange way but still filled with passion! |

Lol'd so much at Akira Laughing his ass out at Weakazumi being the ace XD Manami vs Akira was awesome. Dat Manami ideology! And HOLY SHIT!!!! Midosuji just called someone "Not gross" O_O XD Onoda surprising Makishima was a fun scene to see ^^; Looking forward to him catching up. I died at the OMAKE ROFL XD |

| Ishigaki did a good job pulling Akira for so long. It's weird to see the third years of each team having to rely on their kouhai in the last stretch of the race. Lol at the omake, and Akira getting rid of anything he deems unnecessary. |
| Ishigaki's motivation to pull Midousuji further was commendable. Kinda feel bad for him that Midousuji didn't particularly care for him so much. Makishima giving up on Onoda but immediately gaining hope after seeing him was pretty funny! Why doesn't he sing the "Hime Hime" song yet? >.< That'd make him catch up to the others in an instant! Manami vs. Midousuji was amazing! For the first time ever, Midousuji acknowledged someone as "Not gross." Manami might even win against him at this rate! Good episode. That post credit segment was too friggin' hilarious! I won't be surprised if Midousuji actually cast it off. XD |

| Midousuji is a really creepy guy, that face while he was running against Manami was so weird. Ishigaki did a good job for his ace, until he was worn-out. And as always, this show has too many flashbacks, sometimes they're funny or interesting though. They help to relax my hype for this anime. That omake was really funny loooool. |

| It really bothers me that Toudou and Maki and falling behind, there's no reason they shouldn't be climbing hard enough to catch up to the aces. I get that Maki is holding him at bay and putting all his hopes on Imaizumi, but Toudou is no slouch such that he wouldn't force Maki to keep a pace to continue holding him off. Although, Ishigaki did pass out at the end of the previous episode. I guess that they felt like they wouldn't have done it justice unless they dramatized it a bit. Manami came across as a little creepy this episode. I guess that's what it takes to beat Midousuji though...partially anyway. Also, that omake was...certainly something. I'm just going to leave it at that. Haha |

| I knew Manami was really different from Onoda. Both have fun and fully enjoy cycling but for different reasons. I've felt that Manami likes it for the pure adrenaline thrill, and this episode confirmed it. What a change in personality when he starts riding seriously, but that was hinted during his background episode in the first season. Anyway, I am now expecting him to win over Midousuji. Just the feeling I get. Whereas Midousuji just wants victory at all costs, Manami rides for the pure thrill. Might be a really close race between the two. |

| Ishigaki is one of the coolest characters in the series. I think a lot of people in his position would be angry or frustrated at not being the ace in their very last Interhigh (especially with the new ace being somebody like Midousuji) but Ishigaki just sucks it up and takes pride in being the assistant because he knows it's the path to victory. He is such an awesome and respectable guy. Also wtf was the omake at the end lmao. |
| It's sad that Midousuji didn't respond directly to Ishigaki's feelings, but on the other hand it's nice that he's one of the guys that stays in character unless something extraordinary happens. Fighting for the team is gross after all and at least he's aiming for the overall victory with everything he got, so fair enough. Manami on the other hand made him speak out the unthinkable "not gross". Yeah, his fighting spirit is pure and he's one of the coolest characters. Took long enough for him to get some action. |

| While Manami and Onoda appear to be somewhat similiar, this episode basically confirms their difference with Manami enjoys the adrenaline thrill and Onoda enjoys cycling with others. |
