| I love how Onoda quickly recovered from the shock of being "swallowed" by the pack and chose to get out of it, ask for help and made it his goal to catch up and help his fellow teammates. I love how much Onoda has grown, and how he keeps growing stronger. Overall, I love how this anime gives each character their own unique personality, along with strengths and weaknesses, and in addition develop their characters throughout the anime. BTW, Arakita FTW, man he's funny and awesome. And as usual, the mini episode after the ED was hilarious xD |

| I just resumed watching this series after putting this on hold for more than a year. I'm a big fan of sports anime and I do remember so looking forward to this anime when it was initially released... but seeing this again reminded me why I was put off by it in the first place.... Onoda. He was the main reason I almost dropped the first season and had to stop watching the 2nd (this) one. I really can.not.stand.him. Ugh. (No offense to those who like him; this is just my opinion and I can't help it). Everything about him just gets on my nerves. It used to be just his personality and the way he talks but eventually the way he looks started annoying me too. But. I'm really craving for a sports anime right now which is why I re-started this anime and if I ignore Onoda, I can still enjoy this anime. I'm somehow doing it right now anyway seeing as I just watched episode 7 & 8 without feeling the need to put this on hold again. lol Other than that, I'm really liking the progress thus far. I'm really enjoying how intense Arakita is. rofl. And of course there's Manami whose just as cute as I remember. xD |

| And this episode makes me an Arakita fanboy now. DAmn i'm even putting him to my favorites. That irritated way with which he was riding and speaking to Machimiya was great. "I'll eat you." <3 His reckless way of driving won me over too, dude is crazy, he doesn't care about anything. IT was quite nice that Onoda mustered some courage and spoke up to Arakita, cause i know he is quite scary, it's hard to approach some people, but for YOUR OWn team Onoda, you did it. He did tell him that he is scary tho, luckily Arakita found Fuku-chan in Onoda, it's probably because Onoda is way too straightforward and honest. My favorite part tho was when Arakita said that he will show them an assistant who has pulled an ace to a victory multiple times, and Onoda was quite impressed. The flashback where Fuku tells him that Manami's potential is not fully shown was great too, Arakita didn't want to pull him because he is not that great and he is no Shinkai. Was pretty funny that those guys in the pack really believed Hiroshima would come back LOL. you got fooled guys. |
| As someone who seriously is all about Manami and Onoda interactions, I got slayed today. Have you ever heard Manami's light hearted chuckle before? I had to rewatch that like 7 times. Honestly, this episode spoiled me rotten. I love Onoda riding alongside the members of Hakone, Arakita/Onoda/Manami team is definitely dream team. I was delighted to see that they simply passed by all their teammates. A+, enjoyable episode. |
