| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A lot of buildup this chapter. Nice. It looks like Machimiya knows Juichi. His talk about "magic" was a bit creepy tbh. Pretty good start to this match though. I see that almost everyone is fired up for the race. The imagery of the snake on the road was quite something though. Wow, I haven't seen something sinister like that before in this series until today. |

| I seriously can't see how I will come to like Machimiya. That "touching" was disturbing. I find myself secretly rooting for Kyoto Fushimi now. It was nice to see Hakone and Souhoku cooperating until the reach their aces! Machimiya being a really manipulative person and gathered everyone to ride in an efficient pack! That snake biting the three riders! To not abandon anything thus making the pack quite willful. Some seems to hate the leaders too! Looking forward to see how Machimiya would abandon the pack! Still, so much people are catching now. Wonder how Kyoto Fushimi is doing too. |

| Lol'd at Machimiya's "Magic" That was too gay XD Liking him so far though. Quite the con man we got there. He knows how to convince u from the soul :3 I wonder what he'll do when they catch up though? That will determine his character XD He made one mistake though and that's underestimating Onoda XD Liked the part with Manami feeling Midousuji incoming. The Hype for Manami is unreal right now :O |

| Eikichi is just plain creepy; caressing Kinjou and Fukutomi to suck the "stars" out of them. Even self-proclaiming to be a Mahou Shoujo! Topping Midousuji is terms of creepiness didn't take him long at all. Just what's the deal with his guy? Toudou lecturing Manami only to find him asleep was pretty funny! That's some high level focusing there. XD Nice seeing Souhoku and Hakone cooperating to reach a common goal. Though, creepichi seems to have an even bigger counter with the huge pack he assembled. That giant snake animation was pretty awesome! Pretty sure he's just conning the whole pack and will leave them behind at a certain point. Good episode. I was hoping to see Midousuji leading Kyoto Fushimi a little. Really hope he catches up with the aces soon. |

| Third day's begun! Well, there's some really awkward touching... Haha, Manami sleeping before the race. Everyone's reactions when they saw that Midousuji shaved his head. And that little change in the OP as well. Sohoku and Hakone riding together. Wow, that was a really cool, dramatic way to show how the pack can swallow up other racers. Haha omg, the scene after the credits. Shinkai offering Arakita chocolate banana potstickers and getting rejected. |

HELL YEAH, he rly did made a fatal mistake by underestimating Onoda alot, alot. No star? No luck? Wait until you see. Machimiya...! Another thing is, the Hype for Manami is Real, Too Real. He is going to be one of the essential piece later on in the third day race, which I meant alot...! Trust me...! Lastly, I just couldn't wait for the 'countdown' scenes to happen! ARGH...!!! Please be quick, I am waiting for all of THAT to get animated....! URGH! (Epic as hell!) That 'countdown'!!! |

| ... God damn it... I love this show waaaaaaaay too much! that guy is creepy as hell.. but Manami has this sleeping tiger vibe coming off of him. If you wake the sleeping tiger you'll regret it, especially with the way he was talking.. I want to see how this sleeping tiger really is. |

| I get goosebumps watching that guy bluffing his magic thing while touching weirdly them. The more I watch Yowamushi Pedal, the more I find story going slower and slower. And Choco-banana-gyoza is just weird, I'll stick with Jiaozi. |

| That snake animation was actually quite terrifying. I could only imagine how it must have felt to be swallowed by the pack. Also, I wonder how relevant Midousuji is going to be in the third day. He seems to still have retained some of his creepiness, but it seems to have been heavily toned down. And I think that he only had one line in this entire episode. What about his torn legs? It seems like those healed super quickly. |

| Ew why is Machimiya's creepy touching even allowed. Why are the other cyclists and spectators just standing there watching. The whole second season has been so much slower with less compelling new characters. I'm hoping it picks up since it doesn't have the leisure of 38 episodes this time. |

| Ugh, don't really like mr. new creep, but at least he's using a real thing to get to the fight. The peloton can really accelerate to ridiculous speeds because they have the manpower, even though it's mostly the top teams trying to ensure their position that do the heaviest lifting. I suppose the race was made a winner-takes-all just so that the manga could have three days of full on battle. Otherwise new creep's team could win third day's race and lose first place of the Interhigh (as it should be but ehh, sports anime rules dictate it's boring). |

Dem bromance feelings doe T.T Hmmm, that guy made the other riders join forces to catch the leaders. The huge rear pack looks like a lot of trouble for the guys in front. |

| That new guy is super annoying already... wtf was he just touching them? countng stars? W-whaaat? can't believe no one punched him yet for the stuff he was pulling. So he was winning before because of luck? everyone else was falling right before him. Wow. When luck is on your side you can be a scrub and still get 3rd huh. And it looks like he is using some cheap tricks, or maybe not cheap but still. Manipulating everyone in the pack since they are desperate and there is nothing to lose for them, they all ride together much faster than usual huh. Wonder if they'll catch up at all. Giant snake looked really cool and kinda scary :O imagine getting caught by that thing. x_x Liked that Hakone x Sohoku cooperation <3 8 man team, It's the first one for Onoda heh. we get to see that they are riding much faster now. Yeah and obviously Imaizumi will never catch up to Shinkai, he is way out of his league, eh Kinjou Kinjou it's easier said than done "Catch up to Shinkai" |
