| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yes, it's back! The OP song is decent so far with the catchy tune. I like it. It picks up from exactly where season 1 left off and it was intense. Midousuji still creeps me out at times though. The flow of the episode was really good with all the competitors. Midousuji's team is catching up now. Definitely not good yikes. Well, whoever wins this definitely deserves it. |

| Imaizumi leveled up at least twice from last season! I thought he'd fall once again after Midousuji pushed his handlebars. :O Good to see him disregarding his strife with rivalry and riding for the team only. (^^) I see Mizuta is becoming a second Midousuji with his crazy head tilts. He even have them big teeth to go with his personality. XD Hakone's set up was pretty cool with Shinkai taking the ace assistant role. This guy is still a beast! Ishigaki's little flashback was nice. I hope he gets to see his mentor Yassan soon. Midousuji saving him from slipping was really really surprising!! I felt like it's not only because he wanted Ishigaki to pull for him, but also caring for him as a teammate. A sudden change in Midousuji's heart perhaps!? Awesome episode to begin the 2nd season! It's about to get even hyper! Can't wait for Onoda to sing "♪ Hime Hime ♫" again! XD |

| Was a really solid episode and I loved it. Happy they didn't spend more than 2 minutes recapping where the first season ended. Can't wait for episode 2, and Midousuji is still best character. |

| The adrenaline and Midousuji creepies are back, as are the omakes. I missed how they felt so much. I wonder how long this'll run for--hopefully three-cour again, but it might be two. Mondays are awesome again. |

| See Midousouji, your ruthlessness is cool when it's not dirty. I don't mind Midousouji winning if its a straight up strength battle in the end. If anything he just made Imaizumi stronger. |

| Warning: this comment is affected by me marathoning like 16 eps of the last season a few weeks ago. I just wish for Inter-High to end... I can't deal with this utter bs anymore. Sure, parts of it are entertaining, some parts offer nice characterisation and I still enjoy the hell out of the end scenes, but everything else just makes me cringe. I feel like there's nothing really left of the series I started to watch, with Onoda and everyone else becoming Super Sayan. I'll try to fight through this IH at least, maybe watching ep a week helps cool me down lol. If I didn't watch cycling irl I feel I could enjoy Yowapeda a lot more D: |

| ^ Yeah, he is a cross-over character from the Chimera Ant! :D In the Op there was a team in green I don't remember :L And its captain was grinning creepily like Midosuji. Maybe a new rival school. Despite the flashback, Hakone is advancing with the red-hair guy and Imaizumi will also overcome his setbacks. Glad to have Yowa back! |

| And the new season starts with a BAM. Short recap at the beginning, but wow I didn't expect them to jump right back into the race. That was excellent, and the OP/ED are much more dramatic this time around. This episode got me super excited! So many close calls and some surprises here and there. And watermelon murder, hahaha. |
| The new team that will appear this season doesn't look really sane, I hope their ace or captain won't be as crazy as Midousuji. This time, I'll accumulate more episodes so that I can marathon it. Midousuji's antics always make my jaw drop. Lovin' the ED. |

| New OP/ED are great! Really solid episode. I'm so hyped for next week. I hope they end the 2nd day race lol I'm dying to find out what happens. This is my Fall AOTS at the moment. Only (small) complaint is that there was too many audience comments like "Whoa! They're so fast!" or "They must be crazy!" or "That's impossible!"
