| Oh man I am so happy Yamaguchi got the chance to play this season. It doesn't matter that he failed, nor that it was a small part of the episode/overall game, it added some character growth and he did help the team. Love it. Wasn't sure if I'd enjoy this game at first because ew Oikawa, but it's definitely my favorite in the series thus far. |

They're cutting it so close...not surprising given that this is probably the last match of the show, but I hate to see it come to an end. ;_; I wanted a rematch against Nekoma! |

| i'm rewatching haikyuu!! and even now that i have a better understanding of how volleyball works, having read the manga too.. this is still so obviously well done the only thing i can see that was lacking was yamaguchi's character development i think this episode was supposed to entail more yamaguchi back story from the manga but it still works without it, i hope that they pick up their game with yamaguchi next season |

| Episode from the frenetic pace, more than the skill of the individual, stands the power of the collective during the narration, however, the fact remains the undoubted quality of Oikawa and those of Kageyama, Hinata is still a bit behind in the battle between these two big. The rest of the characters still looks good, still manage to emerge from the bottom. |

| most intense episode so far - one really share's the thrill and longes for every point. the animation is stable and nice however towards the end there is the face of that enemy setter shown two times mixing in with the net. that looked creepy an shouldn't be like this, well maybe they had a long weekend before producing this episode. |

| That ending with the one handed toss was so amazing. The match is so intense. It feels like I'm holding my breath watching it. I feel so powered up watching them play with their never ending spirit. Too bad Yamaguchi failed his serve. I hope to see him improve more as a player, and master the floating serve. |

| So sick. Almost thought the match was going to end this ep because of that picturization of Oikawa pulling ahead. They did end up catching up though, and now they should be all tied up?? Not sure whether they are going to win this match or lose and then compete for the next tourney. I feel like by already mentioning the second tourney (in the Date-Ko match), the author pretty much plans for that one to happen and to be more important. Either way, they could still win this match and lose later, but that would make them seem OP I think, so better if they lose now from a writing standpoint... Seems a bit predictable that way but mebbe I'll be wrong! Surprises are always nice. |

| Liked it but didn't love it. It terms of substance this episode felt it had less strategy involved than the other sets, as well as less character development as most of it was a back and fourth, momentum jockeying montage. That's fine, not every episode needs to be a masterpiece, but it's one of the biggest things I applaud Haikyuu for. Every episode is filled to the brim with so many ideas and everything is moving forward constantly. That's why this was notable for me. Hinata lives for the clutch. When everyone is begging for the volley to end, Hinata is doing his best to stay in the game. It's quite incredible. I liked how Karasuno started attacking the sides and how we saw Seijoh counter that. I love how Yamaguchi came into play. I predicted they would use him ever since he first looked at the team in jealousy, wanting to be in the game, and when we saw they would need a momentum change. The second things started to go really bad I knew in my bones Yamaguchi would come out, and he does as the highlight of the episode. He had a taste of what it's like to play in the heat of the match, and he will become stronger for it. That's awesome. It's great how his first serve failed because it will make his second so much more powerful. One day, when the third years are gone, I bet Yamaguchi is going to make a magnificent permanent player. A deuce is going to be even more intense than anything before it... I guess that's a good way to end the season. The imagery of Kageyama catching up to Oikawa and pulling on his shirt was great. |

| Damn, those final few seconds before the ED was fire! Of course Hinata with the decisive score after that amazing one-hand toss, hopefully they can propel ahead with the momentum! Loved the visual depiction of Karasuma 'catching up to' Johsei there, really gives the whole conflict a lot more depth! Poor Yamaguchi though but the momentum shifted so a job well done! Good one there, Coach! |

| This ep gave me goosebumps. It's so touching seeing how much everyone is trying to get each point, despite how exhausted they might feel. Whichever team loses, they have both tried the best they could, and it would be extremely sad to see them dejected due to their loss. Ngl, I really hope Karasuno wins this one, they almost lost and they managed to pull themselves from the brink nonetheless. I haven't been this stressed for quite a while, this match has been everything I hoped for and more. I'm anxious to see the result!! |
| Man I feel sorry for Yamaguchi, he gets to shoot once and he fucks it up. Anyway, damn I'm pumped to see who wins this match. I'll seriously be disappointed if Karasuno loses. |
