| @ jakkubus from what I remember Hyrdogen gas was used to keep radiation in check,as it was still a nuclear reaction that they were producing live.(Or I'm wrong and another LN reader can explain :) ) @ odysseyrh but Zapradon was the one that started comparing both anime's,so my point was will he not have a problem if another race was chosen as the enemy in this arc instead of Chinese. gotta ask any Catholics that got offended how we are portrayed in Index and even Hellsing?Somewhere along the lines of looking down on other religions,sometimes psychotic bastards?I'm Catholic and just see it as fiction,so I don't know why people get insulted if a country is treated as the bad guy,I mean the US has been doing it for years from comics,tv shows,movies. |

Ah, now that is a tricky subject. Japan did do horrible things to the Chinese during WWII, not least was using biological weapons against them. That said, at the same time it is clear that the Chinese government is exploiting the honest suffering of the Chinese to 1) justify their rule, 2) focus internal hatred towards the government towards an external "enemy", and 3) use it as a shield both to justify Chinese imperialistic aims and to distract the Chinese from the fact that the Communist government killed 4 times as many Chinese as the entire Second Sino-Japanese war. So on the "justified" side if Japan made an animation where China was "evil", to a Chinese person it would be similar to what a Jew would feel if Germany made an animation where "Israel" is evil. On the "unjustified" side, the author has made it perfectly clear that the "Chinese" are not evil, that the world is horrific place (because of resource depletion and global cooling) where there are no angels. Nothing in this show presents Japan (something few people notice is how seldom it is called Japan, the author tends to use the generic "our country") as superior, rather he has done the opposite and has tried to create a fictional world. Lookin' smokin' hot there :3 Miyuki making every guy go made about her beauty XD. Hahaha, Erika sure was vehement about not being lumped in together with Leo as a set. It really is rare nowadays to see so many different pairing besides the main characters x every other character lol. Well... erm... um... I guess the presentation was nice lol. Its incomprehensible because we're never really exposed to how their world work, and thats definitely not how our world work as well, its just info's tried to sound cool. |

| I knew they would do something to free Lu Gonghu. Zhou has really good infortmations when he knows when Lu get transported into the prison. The clash between Ono and Fujibayashi was nice. I think it was the first time they met each other. I think you can't have better people responsable for the security. Juumonji, Hattori, Kirihara, Ichijou. Normally just someone who's crazy would try to do anything on this competition. The presentation went very well for Tatsuyas group. I had a feeling the attack would maybe happen during it. And now shit is about to get real with this giant robot. Hopefully nothing to bad will happen. |

| Yeah, right away to be like that. Ofc its turned out to be these hectic situations, not just ended up anticlimactic like before. The day of the competition, finally. Soon, the enemies might be breaching them all without noticed. Fortunately, everyone just had their own preparation, from A to Z, from the first person to the last one. Interesting to see the interaction between that twos secret agent lady from the different divisions, they were really care on the same person after. Yeah, its him, Tatsuya, as expected! I am not gonna mentioned the damn heavy explanations about the termo-nuclear ass theories, and everything else that i don't even care in the first place. Its cool, actually, but somehow, i feel lacking there. Okay its good, really, no other expression i could get on with those heavy blabbing. The lectures time of that, just as boring as my college day before. XD At least i got a nice battle sequences at the next episode. So, lets skipped these built up, and move forward to next one! Also, the prince from the Third School revealed himself again, together with his pairing genius, Mister Cardinal. His interaction with Miyuki just a complete awkward, he still didn't realized. XD. Ah i forgot to mentioned the spy girl whos being used because of her naives. Her problem has already been solved with some little encouragement from Ichihara senpai. I hope she could be a better person in the future day. Okay, everyone seemed ready to punched with each others! So lets war! |

| This episode feels a bit slow, but it's alright. The buildup to the competition doesn't feel nearly as intense as the NSC, since we don't get to see preparation or anything. I am interested that there is so much protection being enlisted for the event, though. I hope that this foreshadows a giant terrorist attack, since there'll be armed police in waiting. Their presentation felt like pretty basic physics lecture on electrostatics and fusion with a bit of magic to bypass the electromagnetic force between charged particles. And then it took the energy from fusion and added it to a heat sink of some sort of heat engine to do work? So it was basically just fusion with magic to BS the hard part. I couldn't follow most of it, but it was something like that. It was pretty boring, I guess. |
