At the beginning I thought Esdeath (funny name, isn't it?) was joking about falling in love but, after she said she was gonna write down her criteria... Ok ok... Let me guess, some small boy, brown hair, green eyes... untainted... You know, the power of the MC will make that possible (?) Good that Tatsumi is starting (a bit late) to see the dangers of his current occupation. Akame broke in tears. What to do, you ask. Better give myself a nice punch to the face, that will show her. #AnimeLogic #MCLogic Tatsumi actually looks good in a suit. Way better than those things he usually uses. In general this episode has better. PD: Oh, more dead characters I suppose xD - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Gator said: Bulat gets way too much background story this episode... Happened with Tatsumi's friends, happened with Shelee, happened with that girl soldier and her father in this episode and I suppose it will continue to happen. |

| Bulat was badass, but the anime feels a bit shallow. We were just introduced to Bulat's former general, and now it just so happens that he's one of the animal freaks? If we had been introduced a few episodes earlier, it would have been much better. Also, Tatsumi is that cliche anime character thats constantly full of himself, and it's getting really annoying. |

| Shallow episode as usual but the scene with Akame feeling upset and emotional for Sheele's death but trying to hide her feelings to not let it distract her work was the first real sense of depth I've seen from her character 7 episodes in with this show. Esdeath does look like the most interesting character from her persona so far already, but even she's bound to be ruined by the writing this show offers at some point, I can feel it. |
| This is by far the most humane expression that we've seen from Akame, she is not cold-hearted or emotionless, she's just suppressing her painful emotion all in order for her to be able to focus on her mission. I'm liking Akame more, just goes to show how significant the world the Night Raid lives in compared to Tatsumi's who's no more than a greenhorn at this point. Not gonna lie, Tatsumi promising his eternal survival is really manly of him, worthy of praise from Bulat himself. Not to mention Tatsumi's drive to get stronger, oh man, I'm actually pretty interested to the extent of how powerful he could be. So far he's not been able to take down any relic-wielder by himself just yet. Even then, he's already quite a handful even though he's not a relic wielder himself. Bulat's AOE spinning attack was fucking badass! Oh, I wish that flute-playing-femboy get shredded just his victims did. |
