| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It was an alright episode. The atmosphere of the show got somewhat grimmer and more hollow. Saburou also gets himself into a bit of trouble. I think by this point of the show, he is much more accustomed to his life style now. That Oichi woman still gets on my nerves a bit though. I really wonder what her endgame is. |

He "became" Nobu again when going to other castle. That guy at Kyo is...not shogun like. Talking about the place that Nobu gets assassinated. lol @ the news section. |

| I wonder how Mitsuhide must feel, seeing this stranger in his shoes, living the life that should be his (although admittedly, the Oda clan would not have achieved such high acclaim were it not for Saburo). I wonder if he'd had the urge to reveal himself to Kichou, Tsuneoki, and Oichi. It will also be interesting to see just how Mitsuhide will betray Saburo, if at all; though it's been established that the history Saburo is making doesn't match the contents of the textbook and events may turn out differently. I still get the feeling Mitsuhide is going to die, though, either sacrificing himself for Saburo or fighting against him. |
| Now that's quite the turn - so the real Nobunaga is Mitsuhide, that certainly puts Honnouji to be an even more interesting event, though it seems curious as to how an established 'family' might suddenly have a new member, but I suppose Concerto has always skirted the edge of realism. So there's countless ways we can go from here, and the biggest question is whether 'history' will divert from our reality or not - and whether Saburo or others will be time-travelling through this story. Was a good laugh to hear Sugita voice a somewhat nutty Yoshiaki. |

| Real Nobunaga to become Mitsuhide! *.* What a cool idea! I like how everything is going according to history and even if Saburou is present time, he still can't change past and is really like... Saburou was Nobunaga in first life, then he died and reborn as Saburou in future. Does it make sense? Because this is pretty cool done! :) Correct to history and yet that fiction part with Saburou :D Cool, cool... Really cool series :D |

| Looks like i need to stop read the manga before the anime series end lol. This turn out to be pretty exciting :D The real Nobunaga become Akechi Mitsuhide and Saburou said Nobunaga will be killed in Honnoji but he doesn't remember who is going to kill him. | I love this anime so much, and this episode was great. The real Nobunaga being Akechi Mitsuhide is such a cool twist, and I hope we actually get to see the Honnouji Incident at the end. I hope Micchi doesn't actually kill Saburo, though. |

| How dense are these people? Saburo has brown hair and brown eyes, while Nobunaga has black hair and black eyes. No one questioned the fact that this hair and eye color changed? This is no different than when Superman becomes Clark Kent just by putting on a pair of glasses and a suit. *sigh* So, the real Nobunaga is now Akechi Mitsuhide? This ought to be interesting since history states that Mitsuhide is the one that [spoiler]killed Oda Nobunaga.[spoiler] I'd like to see how "Mitsuhide" is going to stop that from happening. | I wonder if the Oda family, including Kichou, will ever figure out that Saburou had switched places with the real Nobunaga? I kind of hope so, to see what would happen. Also, what was the original Nobunaga's new name? Mitsuhide... Akechi? When Saburou had started to think about who killed Nobunaga, it started with an A... Akechi? The original Nobunaga kills Saburou? That is if I remembered his new name correctly lol |

| Really liking this anime so far. It's a very pleasant surprise, especially given the mediocrity of all the other nobunaga-themed anime recently. We finally see the formation of the concerto of Nobunaga & Saburo. This looks promising. |

| I've got to say I'm glad I clicked on Crunchyroll one morning while looking for something to watch and that I stuck with it even with the weird art style. It seems that even without his textbook he's still able to get things done, I wonder if he'll ever start worrying that he will have to be killed if he wants to not change the past. |

The most problematic are the late counselor and the retainer, otherwise, obviously, Nobu was sickly, confined to his chambers most of the time, and the big bro was the family expectation. Kichou and Oicchi are entitled to see him rarely, you know, by default. But I think all of them welcomed how Nobu changed and didn't put so much thought in it. So, the real Nobunaga is now Akechi Mitsuhide? Maybe he'd figure the secret behind the success of Nobunaga Concerto and fulfill his oath to kill Nobu, when they get to Honnouj again, sometime later in the story. True Nobu saves Saburo from being killed by Tomoki Kinoshita and sends him home, officially Nobunaga is dead, but the war isn't over till Sekigahara, which will explain Akechi Mitsuhide's quest. |
| Cool my theory was correct, the real Nobunaga became Mitsuhide. I really hope we get to see an epic battle sometime in this series. This is starting to become a solid 8. |

| Ahh this is going to be so much more fun now. Real Nobu as Akechi Mitsuhide? He kind of gave off that vibe at the end of episode 5 but I didn't think this would be how he'd be (re)inserted in the story. And now he's saying he won't let the Incident at Honnouji happen. This is going to be really interesting :3 Saburo must have been a really bad at studying if he didn't know something so famous in Japanese history O___o |

How in the world is this going to play out...!? Oichi is fun as always. Cute white snake; Akechi jumped when he saw it, that was funny!! And it's super convenient to have the same face; now Saburo doesn't have to worry about formalities. XD |

| I don't think that shogun will last long. He don't clever enough to survive at such an important position. Mmm, if I remember well, Nobunaga was assassinated by one of his close general. I'm not sure, I guess we will see about that later. It sure is easy to kidnap Nobunaga, especially if nobody notice it... :P That was a clever way to use the real Nobunaga, he can be of an help when it come down to politics. |

| A- A- Akechi Mitsuhide. To be honest, how can Oda Nobunaga just become Akechi Mitsuhide? Or is the real Oda Nobunaga the real Akechi Mitsuhide, and there was no Akechi Mitsuhide in that world? Now with 2 people with Oda Nobunaga's face, there are a few possibilities of how the death will play out. By the way it really seems like the story skipped a lot of details, like how did Oda came to the conclusion that the political marriage of Oichi will be beneficial to them. He didn't read his textbook, right? They never show how he came to that conclusion, and just dump the info to the audience. It really makes me feel like this should be more of an educational purposed animated series than an actual anime. Edit: Oh and something interesting I just noticed, Saburou seems to be okay with Oda's death, which means his death. Since when did he come in term with it? This is why I don't like the show that much, they skipped a lot of details and just scratch the basic. Sugita as the shogun is also a miscast, but whatever. Watching the ED sequence really makes me want to watch a real war series.. Will probably get to Kingdom much sooner than I expected. |

| So the real Nobunaga became Aketchi Mitsuhide.. the Brutus of Japanese history. Anyway I kinda feel bad for him. You know he gave up his wife, his family, and everything to a total stranger that happens to look like him.. and now his working under that stranger. But his purpose makes sense. They already added him in the ED. He's now together with Saburou leading their men to war. Anyway since Mitsuhide has made his appearance.. how about Hideyoshi? |

| The Honnouji incident will probably be Saburo going back to his own time and the real Nobunaga with his false name will rise to power, if not for any surprising plot twists. |
