Yeah, but at least Shounen throws in comedy. Good shoujo romance is fun, but sometimes the old cliches in shoujo really get old. |

| 12 episodes only?!?! Sad... Gonna stick with the manga then. But anyway, I like the animation and the character design which really follows the manga! The almost pastel colors too which is like Kimi ni Todoke. And Tanaka (Mabuchi) in animated form really looks good and handsome. It's just that I don't like his voice somehow. Hehe. When he speaks, it totally reminds me of Erin of Attack on the Titans.. |
| There was a bunch of everything between fun and serious moments. I like the characters, and darn that old hag is seriously irritating, and Futaba's "friends" are shitty shallow bitches. I like Futaba and Kou, and I knew there would something with that petite shy but popular girl. Anyway it seems this is darker than your typical shoujo eh? |

| Beautiful adaptation. Seriously, I'm very happy. It's weird watching this knowing what's going to happen, but I loved it. That animation is fantastic, especially when they do the whole shoujo manga background effect for the flashbacks. Kou <3 |

| This was the first anime that I've cried at in the first episode. Art was annoying at first, but it's much better now when they forwarded to the future. Reminds me of playful kiss a little- it seems the girl will be going after the guy. I've never read the manga, so that's just what I thought. The shrine thing was adorable. I'm so happy she said her feelings right then and there- I was going to go bonkers if it took until the last episode to say "oh by the way, I didn't really hate guys" like they do in so many other romances. Favorite anime of the season so far! |

| My sister was watching this and I just happened to be in the same room. And I was totally sucked into it. The story line looks promising (I will definitely go read the manga now) and the animation is awesome. I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for the new episodes. |

| WAAAAAHHH SURPRISINGLY VERY NICE ; u ; i was skeptical when they announced this was getting an anime adapatation bc, lets be real, majority of shoujo adaptations are quite bad... SO I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THIS :'DDD also got some usagi drop & kimi ni todoke vibes bc of the way it was animated, and WHAT DO YOU KNOW IT'S PRODUCTION IG WORKING ITS MAGIC AGAIN. I'M SO HAPPYYYYYY now i kinda wish strobe edge got an adaptation too :^( |

| I caught up to the manga last week and found out today there was an anime coming out. I just had to watch it. I simply loved it. Followed the manga pretty well and I feel that the voices suit the characters. Looking forward to watching this get animated. Such a fun ride. |

| WOW. All I can say is wow. I didn't really know what to expect going into this. I'm so glad I decided to watch this. This is my first real shoujo anime, and all I can say is, is that it's exceptionally great. I loved the animation for the most part. The eyes on the MC were a little bit hard to get used to at first, but half way through it didn't really faze me anymore, infact, I think they're kind of adorable now. One of the gems of this season so far. |

| I really liked it. The animation is beautiful. Couldn't expect any less from Production I.G. Also love the voices for the two lead characters. Yuki Kaji and Maaya Uchida fit their roles perfectly. |

| Tanaka and Futaba first couple minutes. I'm wondering why Tanaka changed schools. Hopefully it's explained in the next episode. Mabuchi: "Apologize old hag" xD I feel like this show will have heavy drama, sort of like Sukite(Say I love you). |

| After bread-gate Maibuchi said her friendships were shallow but when Yoshioka explained he said it didn't concern him so he doesn't care. If it didn't concern him, he shouldn't have felt the need to comment in the first place! And at the shrine if he was going to basic going to tell her to get over her feelings for him, why did he wait two terms for her to notice him in the first place? Bah, currently reading the manga so Kou's 'tude is pissing me off all over again. |
| Good first ep. Kaji Yuuki playing the lonely highschool kid role again, fits this Kou character perfectly. Cant tell if this dude actually still cares, or is actually just an asshole who only acts in certain situations (I have not read the manga). Enjoying it so far so we'll see how it goes. |

But I try watching the anime each time, hopefully some would be good. Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii was a good one for me. | I feel like crying...so much feels, even within the first ep. All I can say is that this anime is amazing! It's the most genuine and romantic shoujo story I've seen in a very long time. I wonder what happened to Kou during those three years..I'm a sucker for tall and stoic guys >_< He speaks his mind and while it is blunt, it was the truth. So glad that he called the old lady 'old hag' haha. And yay for Kou not being a typical shoujo male lead. I was relieved he didn't reply with a 'I'm glad you're satisfied' line to Futaba's 'You get mad for me makes me satisfied'. That'd be too cheesy. I don't get why desirable girls are so hated in this show. Kinda sad the short haired girl is hated by the girls in her class and Futaba used to be like her too. All I can say is Futaba is pretty fake, but I guess it's just to be popular and avoid getting hated? But still that's not good, and I'm glad Kou called her out for it. |
