| Meh The biggest issue I had were the use of the still images. They aren't so bad when they are used during transitions, but they had a still shot up with a full dialog going...so annoying. Not sure I like the still images that suddenly starts to animate thing they use a few times, it makes me think something went wrong with the animation or video. The plot is a bit odd and the love polygon is a bit odd too, but I suppose that will work itself out. Also, lots of wasted introduction time with the chickens. |

| That wasn't a very revealing first episode, I don't think its a very accurate portrayal of what this series plans to do. It was completely gorgeous, and had wonderful music, but I feel like it didn't tell me anything about anything or anyone. Sachi is cute, and looks good with Hiro already though! I'm in for the long haul, but I just wish the first episode revealed a bit more... |

| Interesting first episode. Lots of scenery porn that's for sure. I find it odd that it's about a girl who wants to be glass blowing artisan, yet that took a major back seat already. Hell they showed her drawing cocks longer than her making glass stuff. I also thought it was a bit unusual that the cliché fireworks episode was the very first one. Not that it's a bad thing. The transfer kid is like Tsumugu from NagiAsu but with the personality of a douche. So it looks like the main girl likes no one atm, but tall, dark haired guy likes her, (possibly transfer student too), and frail glasses girl and stuck up tall girl like tall dark haired guy. Then wavy hair headband guy likes the frail glasses girl...this is going to get interesting. Speaking of glasses girl...how sick is she? Shes pale and paper thin, and the others talked like she couldn't leave the house. Liked the OP. Didn't like the ED song, but really enjoyed the visuals. Kind of disappointed that this is only going to be 1 cour. Having 26 episodes to develop everything like Nagi did really helped make the show as great as it was, so I'm wondering what they'll be able to fit in that amount of time. |

| this episode was good. The art was great, the music was fine, the charas and setting seem charming enough .I’m curious to see what direction this anime will go – the series could take a turn towards the awesome Nagi no Asukara. |

| Oh, a character study. My first "PA Works" anime, let's see. Okikura, our tenkou-sen x Fukami Touko Imi & Shirosaki our of nowhere Takayama Nagamiya OP shows it is fluffy feelgood slice of life. Ah, the improbable supernatural assisted love hook. A talk about wishes, totally not foreshadowing for a tragedy that will magically be fixed. Okikura, even I'm not that creepily awkward with people, presenting a malicious intent. And you get in the way of the viewer's feelgood light moments, hence they won't like you. I can get behind your act, but at least show a grin and some wit, have some fun doing it. You're just being cold and "cool" for no real reason. Chicken fluff... I almost fell asleep. Gang's together. Okikura shows up and brings up the mystery. Meh, what were all the character names again? They don't even address each other much. And I get this isn't about being a glass artisan, it's just for presentation purposes of the preview and keeping the mystery. Budget is so tight they need still shots for conversations, that is such a pity. Okikura best character, why? Because I like an asshole acting like an asshole, so much more interesting than the kids we see, who are in third high school year, and right now they are fall flat even before the mysterious tenkou-sen! They're lively I'll give them that, just don't have as much presence for me. I'll keep watching, just to see what are people hoping for, it's already glaringly obvious that this is some supernatural mystery with light drama. |

| For a first episode I can say it was great, despite it being a little slow at the beginning. Firstly, I would like to comment on the voice actors. Thank goodness we don't have another Manaka here! Seriously, if they had put a squeaky voice for one of the main characters, I would have honestly been turned off. Fortunately, instead of a cute childish inaccurate-for-the-age voice, all of the characters sound right for their age, except maybe Kakeru (David), but the coldness in his voice can be acceptable if he has something in his history to back it up (and we all know there's going to be something, considering he's the "mysterious one"). When it comes to the characters, I'm glad we have a bigger group, rather than the classical "two guys, two girls, one intruder that disturbs the balance". Instead, Kakeru comes in to restore the gender balance, which will most likely aid him in being integrated into the gang. As for the personalities and individual characters, there's not much to say, considering this is the first episode, but I like the cast so far. Yanagi reminds me of Anjou (Anaru) from "Ano Hana", which isn't a bad thing at all, since I know there's a sensitive girl hiding behind that tough act. Kakeru reminded me of Tsumugu from "Nagi no Asukara" up until the point where he actually started speaking and the [STALKER] alarm started screaming in my brain. This is where I would like to say how believable Touko is as a character, because she tried to awkwardly leave the situation when she and the said weirdo first spoke, without instantly running away like a little child. Getting up and running away would be rude, if you were misunderstanding the situation, or potentially dangerous, if Kakeru was one of the more insane stalkers. The moment when she stood between him and the chicken was slightly strange, but if it was a dog or a cat, I would have done the same thing (sorry, I don't love chickens as much as I like other animals), so applause again for making her believable as a human being. Finally, I would like to add some couple talk. Now, from the first episode, the initial couples are obvious: Kakeru - Touko Yukinari - Yanagi (Both begin with Y!) Hiro- Sachi (both have two syllables!) However, considering what happened in "Nagi no Asukara", nothing is definitely set in stone. Personally, for once, I would like to see the main main female character (Touko) to end up with one of her friends, rather than with the mysterious transfer student. I know that at the end of the episode, when the preview of episode 2 comes, Touko says "I think I'll ask him out" with a scene that involves her and Kakeru, but this sudden jump to a love confession this early on makes me think it won't work out. I'm currently supporting YukinariXTouko, because the guy is in his last year of school and he still hasn't confessed his feelings, which means that he has probably went through a lot. I know chances are slim, knowing that Yanagi and (maybe) Sachi like him, but still! Let the guy, who has worked hard all those years, get the girl, rather than some mysterious person that walks right in to steal her. |

| Pretty neat first episode. There were a ton of gorgeous scenes. The characters, from what we've seen, look to have some potential to be quite interesting. I guess we'll see with the upcoming episodes. Overall, nice start -- plus, I'm a sucker for relaxing slice of life shows. The first episode definitely fit in that category. |

| DAVID. The first episode is nice. The characters are interesting, good animation, the OP and ED are good, too. Everytime there's a scene about bodies of water and fishing vessels, it reminds me of Nagi no Asukara. I'm surprised at the last scene, though. Okikura does not seem like a bad guy but almost everyone's hostile to him already. Sachi even stood up. Hmm. |

| As always P.A Works does nice scenery and art backgrounds. A bit confuse on what's going on in the first episode but looking forward to whats to come. Pretty chillax series. |

| This reminds me of AnoNatsu, AnoHana, Nagi no Asukara. I noticed some new voices, too. So many chickens! I love the MC's dream. I like her mom and sis. My fav. is Sachi so far. The only problem I have with this is, how thinly they drew character's arms. I mean, even Hikari was drawn more mascular in Nagi no Asukara... 7.5/10 |

| Decent first episode. As usual P.A works do a good job with the visuals, art for backgrounds and characters look very nice although I thought that there were a bit too many random still frames. When it comes to story and characters I can't say much as I really don't have much of an idea of where any of this is going but some sort of complicated love shape is probable. |

| The pacing feels odd which makes the story sort-of confusing but I like the way it delivers this. Here's hoping that an awesome climax will happen mid-way the story just like in NagiAsu Art is awesome. I love Touko. Ships are pretty obvious by now. |
| Nice first ep. Guys in headbands are always adorable. Visuals were stunning. I don't have too much to contribute because most of it has been said already. Ships seem obvious, but also seem a bit complicated, which is common yet nice for a coming of age story. |
