| Great match. Too bad Karasuno lost to Nekoma but overall it was fun to watch. Love the interactions between the two teams after the game. Next up more training and then the Inter-High Preliminaries. |

| Beautiful episode, a friendly rivalry and an official coach. Never expected a volleyball anime to be my favourite of 2014 so far, but that really just shows how great this anime is refined. They always seem to have the whole package in every episode with their epic parts and funny parts. I loved the last scene where Karasuno lost, the OST was so good with the amazing attacks (hinata's aura) but being blocked by the unshakable defence. The best defence is a good offence huh? No matter how talented you are, real teamwork trumps it - a recurring theme (kageyama for example) Can't wait for next week with the NEW OP/ED even though I really love the OP. |

| The similarities of the players in this episode were hilarious, and even though Karasuno lost, I'm not even upset because this match was so heated and exciting! This was such a fun episode, and I'm really glad they added the after-game confrontations. I laughed for 70 years. What a fantastic way to end my night. Great episode! One of my favorites for sure. Kageyama gets more likeable and generally hilarious every episode. Also I think I'm in love with Kenma. |

| This is gold. Characters are really bone & flesh of every sport series, and this series takes the cake. Each of them is amusing to watch with their likable personality & chemistry. A good episode to close this season :) |

| And yeah, Haikyuu OST is nothing short of amazing. Hayashi Yuuki and Asami Tachibana has done great job at Gundam Build Fighters and Robotics;Notes, so this come as no surprise. |

| Such a nice and funny episode! Watching Karasuno lose was just as breathtaking as how it was in the manga. Made me sad, but what would be the point if Karasuno won all the time? Nekoma is a good team for them. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| Ohoooo, so both Hinata and Kageyama will become "oni" when Hinata's skills level up, interesting. Good things Hinata's starting to improve along the way. Hahaha, even the coaches are funny XD. A grown-up cat and a newborn raven LOL. Hinata's face... he looks super serious and ready to strike. Damn... Karasuno lost to Nekoma... Even though all of their games were close, they've been utterly defeated, too bad... Hahaha, Hinata's stamina is limitless XD. Tanaka and Taketora sure are funny guys lol. LOL, it looks like Kageyama's cursing Kenma XD. Hahaha, looks like Hinata found someone similar to him in Inuoka. So many immature and scary people T.T LOL at Asahi's face there at the end... |

| Extending the practise with two more matches was so cool and Hinata wasn't even tired The buddying up after was funny and sweet I get the feeling they'll finally meet at the inter high |

| Hinata with his rival were so cute omg. <3 Babies. I don't really like Daichi's rival. They're both intimidating but the Nekoma captain is way more arrogant. I hope Karasuno takes him down next time. Also because I want Kenma to feel more passionately about volleyball. Tanaka and his rival were hilarious lmao. It was an understandable practice match in the end - kind of sucks they got beat a bunch of times after. :/ |

| I've never been particularity good at volleyball but I used to participate in badminton tournaments a lot. What this episode reminded me of is meeting players and knowing that even though you were rivals, we are very similar. I really love how this anime didn't show the opposite teams completely detesting each other, it was wonderful to watch. |

| Unpleasant episode overall. Narration sympathetic and constructive, the growth of the characters goes on and deepens even the opponents, satisfied. Drawings and animations always top quality, good the OST. The jokes were funny. |

| Amazing match, amazing team spirit, amazing rivalry, amazing gags, amazing BGM, amazing placement of said BGM. Why is this show so freaking good? I also really enjoy the similarities between Karasuno and Nekoma players, especially Kenma and Kageyama who, while being so different, are also alike in so many subtle ways. |
