| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The pacing imo felt a little slow but I enjoyed the episode. The second half with some of the pitches were pretty intense. I feel like they are improving themselves each day although Nishinoya's anger wasn't pleasant to see. The feelings felt intense though and there were some great plays imo especially the Ace. |

| That grocery guy doesn't want to return because he feels nostalgic about the place, but not only accepted when the opponent is Neko team, he brought his own team. The team vs. sempai/adult team. Miyu-Miyu's character's skill as a center is good. Both of the two were frustrated about the game against tall guys like a wall, and had that argument. This game makes sempais (including Miyu-Miyu's character, who seems to have the scar in his heart, too), to want to play again. As expected from the Ace, his attack is strong. |

| Great Episode! The Ace returned! :') About it being slow, I don't think the episode was slow at all. In fact the Production I.G. used 3 chapters of the manga for this episode and they still had to remove 5 pages off the last chapter to be able to fit all into one episode. |

| My goodness, this episode was exceptionally good especially with its emotional tone. I absolutely loved the moment when Asahi shouted 'SUGA!' That scene gave me the chills, it was so good. Such a touching moment and the music really intensified that feeling. God, I kinda felt a little teary-eyed, I don't even know why. xD Nishinoya truly respects Asahi and it's great that he's playing well again. Amazing episode, can't wait to see more of Asahi and Nishinoya. :) 5/5 |

| Am I seriously the only Daichi fan? I feel so alone. Wow, Ukai looked exactly like Tanaka when he was young! Finally he joined! Poor Asahi, got dragged into the game. But still, good for him. Sugawara expressing his feelings. Kiyoko's spike during the break thing was so awesome! Nishinoya being awesome, saving that point. That BGM! This episode was so filled with feels... Even if it was nothing but a practice match. It sure is one of a kind. Asahi is another fav. character of mine for sure! I might be saying but almost every character in this series is my fav. in this series xD But sure, Hinata, Kageyama, Asahi, Yuu and Daichi are my most favs. I just... I can't express it well how much I loved the BGM when Asahi said, "I can spike because the toss goes up." The music suddenly went silent and gosh... It happened a few episodes ago too and that time too, I rewatched that scene multiple times. I just thought this episode was phenomenal! This is how anime should be! Go, Haikyuu! | I am liking Nishinoya more and more. He is really honest with his heart! Tanaka is touched to the point where his tears defies gravity xD Nekoma really was a good bait to get the team back together. Nishinoya's conflict with Asahi was pretty good. Glad to see Asahi put his stubbornness aside and once again loves volleyball with a team on his back. The block-follow would be the last part of their strong/perfect defence! |

So, the current Karasuno High volleyball team vs The Neighborhood Association is going to happen. Asahi blamed himself for the fact that his lost... poor guy... find your resolve! So Asahi has a power spike that can go past blockers, nice. |

| Not gonna lie, it was pretty emotional in this episode, now everyone is here to improve their skills. The 2nd half was pretty impressive so far when they enhance their skills. Yeah kind of slow, but astounding imo. Can't wait to see what the next episode looked like. |

| Yet another perfect episode IMO.This show keeps amazing me with every new episode - the only ''complain'' i have (which isn't really complain) is that scene with Asahi realizing everything was a little too slow paced, but then again, episode finished in an epic way, if they didn't drag it out a little, we wouldnt get such a satisfying end to episode.So yeah, in general...5/5. Also, im a man and i definitely didn't tear up even a bit...*sniff* |

He comes out of nowhere, they call him the ace, and you expect me to feel for him. Not happening in my case. Besides, YOU'VE SPEND 9 FUDGING EPISODES SETTING MORE AND MORE CHARACTERS UP, HOW COME THEY HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED AN OFFICIAL GAME YET!?!??!
