| Two new characters and they seem to have opposing personalities. They should fit perfectly (back) on the team. And the guy who works at the shop (the old coaches grandson?) -- he looks interesting too. |

| I feel like I always drop anime just before they get good. -_- I stopped watching this at like ep 7 over a year ago and just decided to give it another shot and it's already better. Or maybe my perspective is what changed. Anyway, I'm loving the intro of Noya and Asahi, they're both utterly charming in their own ways! It's also really refreshing to have an Ace who's pretty timid off the court...you'd usually get an arrogant jerk just look at the generation of miracles. |

| Awesome seeing more and more characters introduced, the coach being a son of the famous coach they adore, Asahi and Noya being another power couple. I wonder how Ittetsu keeps getting all these deals done, surely just a few words about how they have some new members that are really good shouldnt be enough to suddenly convince them otherwise. |

| Ahhhh, I really hope Asahi returns to the team! He seems so friendly. :) And actually pretty much all of the characters so far are really interesting. They have unique personalities, they're not standard, and they're not set in their ways but are able to change. I really like that! |
| Noya had a great introduction. He's hilarious and his line about getting Hinata ice cream for calling him senpai had me laughing really hard. He seems to have a close bond with Asahi, and apart from those brief moments of seriousness, he's incredibly carefree. I think he plays amazing but he wants to live life his own way, in a way that's fun to him. Meaning to play at a school near him, a school with uniforms he enjoys, and to play as the Guardian Deity. He's the most energetic member of the team I think. The speech where Noya asked Hinata why he's not confident in his role as they decoy, and that he should be because if his position allows the spiker to score then it's just as important with the music and all was one of my favorites. Using onomatopoeia to show intuitive thinking and play can come off as weird, but I think it's more prevalent in Japanese. The reason being, the character Ide from Baby Steps does the exact same thing, "it's like.. boom, zap, bam", while playing. I feel so bad for Yamaguchi, his only memorable character trait is that he's absolutely unmemorable. He was the only first year to not play in the practice match and the only thing he said this episode was responded to with "shut up, Yamaguchi". This is clearly intentional and I have to wonder if it's going to subvert what it's built up by letting him find some specialty of his own later down the line, or if he's always going to be Tsukki's lackey. Speaking of Tsukki, his snide remarks and glares are so funny. I especially liked the "shitty boys" line. If he was a villain, like he once was, he'd be horrible. But, as a hero and a gag character he's lovable if only because of the small role he actually has. Hinata really spoke to Asahi. When he told Asahi that he had the same issue, but now that Kageyama's here to toss to him he can see over the wall, Kageyama totally acknowledged it and didn't say anything and it was cute. They're been getting closer and closer every episode. |

| I like how Kageyama changed since the first episode lol. Nishinoya is cool, a good adition to the cast. Looks like the episode went from comedy to drama at the end. I like that. |

With all these strong personality characters returning, I wonder if Tsukishima's friend will ever get to play or if he is purely background fodder. |

| Another episode, another masterpiece. The OST is so well-chosen!! The last part made me sad and then this amazing ending by the one who created Naruto Shippuden opening 9. Amazing! |

| Hinata and Nishinoya have similar problem. But where Nishinoya choosed to stick to the ground, Hinata choosed to fly. This was amazing. Still the Ace is amazing. He is actually burnt out. But if he gets proper challenge then I think he will come back. However the would be coach seems amazing, XD!!! |
| i'm very enjoying this. but... first thing i feel the story feeling very slowly. secondly, the most thing keeping me going this show is the decent and interesting plot and characters, but as for plot direction i feel the story doesn't keeping me that tense for the next episode. hope that once we will have more "serious" matches this will be better. (though i said it couple of times, i'm wondering when those will come lol) so i will score it 7 so far. |
| Pretty good episode. I like Nishinoya already. I am looking forward to seeing him play. All the second year characters are great tbh. I like Asahi too and hope he returns to the team as soon as possible. And we see the future coach in this episode as well. Excited to see the entire team together. |
