| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

Hehe, very intimidating. And they even wear a black jacket. And I think crows in japanese is called karasu so kinda sounds like their school too which is Karasuno. |

| For me this was the weakest episode so far and I really like the show. There's a difference between being scared shitless and being retarded on the field. This show had shown that difference very well up to this point. Hinata was scared in some of his previous games but he kept trying, doing stupid stuff etc, he was failing under pressure, making silly mistakes. And that was fine. This episode, at least first part of it, had him just being retarded and not knowing anything about volleyball at all. Maybe I'm just used to more serious approach, not too serious, just slightly less on comedic side. I'll admit, I did get a laugh as he ran into ref tower but that was the extend of it. I still love the show, I still love the characters, I just hope they go back to first 5 episodes and do less of what they did in this one :) |

Since most people did seem to find it funny, I wouldn't necessarily call it a very, very poor attempt at comedy lol (at least that's not how I would phrase my opinion) :P It worked |

I usually like over-the-top comedy but this one looked very crude to me but that's probably because I watched a lot of comedy anime. Hinata needs to learn a lot from Slam Dunk's Sakuragi on how to become the show's main attraction as well as the boke guy. |

| Haha, I loved this episode. The fight between Tsukishima and Kageyama was priceless ! And Hinata's grin. xD Hinata's nervouseness was fun to watch and very comical. I wonder who the "actual setter" of the opposing team is. Can't wait for the next episode. ~ |

| Great episode. That new setter guy that showed up toward the end looks like he's going to be bringing trouble. And Hinata having stomach problems the entire episode was pretty hilarious. All in all a fun episode indeed. |

| Watching this episode while having medicine in my mouth is so unsafe...I had to stop myself from bursting into laughter, at least six times. Hinata is literally Mihashi. I'm completely cool with that. |

I've watched each episode atleast 3 times when they come out each week and I never skip this opening. I don't know what it is about this anime but I'm hooked! Something is really compelling about it. I can rewatch episodes and still get filled with the joy I first had when watching it for the first time. I never get tired of Haikyuu, its so refreshing and raw. I truly love it at this point and it's becoming one of my favorites! :) |

I understand they want to show the character's expressions, but I thought it just looked weird... like they were a ghost and they were passing through the net or something. | Another really weak episode. The comedy took way too much precedence instead of the match, it's like every 3-4 panels the author had to insert a joke scene, and they talk way too much. Hinata's nervousness is never taken seriously at all, etc.. There was also cliche scene of Kageyama's former teammate going "holy shit Kageyama apologized?! Kageyama working together as a team?! That Kageyama?!", it makes me feel like the specific scene was created for that to happen, which in returns make the scene unnatural and felt forced. Oh well this will be my last time commenting (ranting) in a HQ! discussion thread. I only hope that I will come to like the series later on. So far I preferred Baby Step (which has average art and animation) and Yowamushi Pedal (where the MC can be overly desperate at times, and the shounen power up) over this. gonna get to DnA soon |
