I think it will need at least 2 more episodes even if we go by the manga. Didn't Tatsuya also specifically mention a This episode shifted away from Miyuki quite a bit and focused on Mizuki. None of that scene was cut out. But I also think it was a mistake to not show why Miyuki is a bloom and Tatsuya and the rest aren't. That scene showed the difference between people who are good at activation sequences and those who aren't. And since winning in a fight is determinant on who activates their magic first, it explains why blooms are rated higher than others. |

| I liked the idea of this anime in the beginning. And I think it could have been worked out a little better. It feels like I'm missing something important in this episode. The motives of the terrorists doesn't feel strong enough to act so drasticly in my opinion. And on another note, I think the anime itself is missing some action or/and atleast some romance. (Not just the flat sister-brother 'love') |
| Pretty meh episode. They skipped a lot from the LN and I'm pretty sure that's because they just want to end the enrollment arc as soon as they can. |

| Finally our weekly dose of Miyuki's brocon personality, although the scene is short I find a jealous Miyuki a bit cute.. Didn't read the novel but I hope that the next episode will be action packed, well it better be besides 2 episodes is used to set-up this coming commotion. I'm giving 4/5 for this episode. | Yotsuba Maya getting introduced here is kind of hype inducing animate meteor stream please, especially with last episode and that brief moment with the ten families or so. I wish we knew her voice actor, I didnt seem to see it anywhere?). Just the mention made it a bit more interesting than the action events which was good progress into the Blanche plot. The magic processes explanation following Tatsuyas moment of showing his typical slow activation speed was most interesting, as the thought that the writer put into this series magic system often goes unnoticed. Typically other magic stories just have characters alter objects to start phenomena but at least here we see that it is much more complicated than previously thought to move an egg or a persona. I wouldnt mind if they do provide more commentary on this as well as more about the implications of having altered activation competency/bypassing processes even. |

| What I'm the most curious about are those ring they give them. What are they for? They have a bunch of weapon, their tactic seem to be to rush in and create chaos, so how will these ring become relevant? Awwwn, how could someone think HanaKana can have bad intention? | On a more serious note, I'm not at all buying into the show's philosophy nor the message it seems to be sending through Tastuya's views of the discrimination occuring at school. The representation of the anti-discrimination movement is very biased : Mibu was chosen as a recruiter for the group and as if by magic she's perfectly incapable of formulating clear arguments regarding the measures the group plans on taking or what she would do to reform the current system. The fact that the group is actually a terrorist organization doesn't help either, I guess. Also Tastuya seemingly maintaining the statu quo simply because he doesn't expect anything from the educational system and it doesn't directly conflict with his own objectives rubbed me the wrong way. Absolving the school of all responsability for its students disregarding the laws they established (Tastu's line about not blaming the school for the puerility of the students) is also fucked up, tbh. Ain't that their job to provide the students with a safe environment for them to study in? Finally, Miyuki insinuating the students that locked themselves up in order to request negociations don't know what the want to change comes off as pretty thoughtless too : why would they ask for negociations if they had no requests to begin with ? Mayumi's speech didn't seem that inspirational to me, either. |

| This episode was pretty epic (yes they cut some stuff out of the light novels, but that's to be expected) Looks like the enrollment arc is finally going to be over next episode and we get to dive into the material that made the light novels so damn good (If they can adapt it properly.... please adapt it properly :$$) For everyone who was complaining about Miyuki being annoying at least she only said onii-sama three times this episode lol :) Profound Magic Users vs Incompetent Magic Users?? Makes sense for the incompetent magic users to use weaponry since your dealing with people who can neutralize all the nitrogen in a fixed area within seconds so it makes sense to bring some heavy weaponry to even stand on equal footing. Can't wait for next week's episode hopefully it isn't completely rushed |
