| Definitely the best first episode of spring so far IMO. This was great! Also love both the OP and ED. Production IG's animation does not disappoint but hopefully they can maintain the animation level throughout the whole show. |

| I'm really liking the adaptation, the animation seems pretty smooth although it's only the first episode. I was planning on marathoning it once it finishes airing but I already can't wait till the next episode. Edit: Forgot to mention, really loving the OST <3 |
| Very good first episode. Full of emotion. A very good introduction to the main character and his struggles in the past. I also like the message that the first game wanted to convey: Never give up, true Ganbatte spirit. ^^ And the Spyair opening is just as epic as expected. No surprises there. I'm so lucky that Ganbatte seem to be very popular with japanese fujoshis right now. I won't be out of fodder anytime soon. |

| Wow tbh I've never read the manga and usually avoided reading it because it just never interested me because its Volleyball. Volleyball isn't a sport I really enjoy so to say but I just randomly decided to watch this and glad I did. Watching them play at that tournament ,they did a great job on actually making it feel we were at a real sporting event . Its an indescribable feeling but if you play or travel to play in sports then you'll understand this feeling or at least if you went to games or something I guess. Anyways I like how this anime presents itself the animation seems straight out of a manga if I were to read it I'm sure that's how it would look without the colors etc. The character is cool and I like his drive and determination it reminded me of me when I started basketball also the fact you get to see him work hard. I like its whole presentation better than Kuroko which isn't saying much because I don't like what Kuroko does for basketball at all but this its like real Volleyball is being played. Plus I need to support sport anime more since there's so few and hopefully more basketball anime show up I also hope these same animators do Ahiru no Sora man that would be the SH!!T |

| Wahh the anime really gave justice to the scenes :]] I like how detailed the animation was when it came to the character's movements~ And Hinata's perseverance was really emphasized and it gave more impact than when I read it. Art-wise, it was decent but I was slightly disappointed because the art in the manga is really GREAT but I'm satisfied more or less. I find Hinata's voice really girly for some unknown reasons but after watching the whole episode, I got used to it and realized that it suits him. High-pitched voice for bright characters afterall~ Kageyama's voice is spot on :]] The OP & ED songs are cool! I mean, SPYAIR and NICO Touches The Walls? Damn, they really chose well! All in all, AWESOME work on the anime! Wahhh the manga is so good and so is the anime~ Good job Furudate Haruichi-sensei and the producers too!!! :]] //Feeling so blessed that I've discovered Haikyuu!! |

| Love the OP. This better be pretty damn good.... And it is. The atmosphere reminds me of Chihayafuru tbh. That jump power! What a game... 9/10, this is among the top anime this season for now. |

| Here I found my replacement for KnB, and it's really a good one. Never really watched a spokon about volleyball, I'm looking forward to it. Also, it was just the first episode, but they already delivered feels to me. Prod I.G can't disappoint. |

| The best opening episode for spring season so far! Even more exciting than Mushishi (maybe because I have very low expectation for Haikyuu!!) At first I thought it'll be boring as fuck like KnB Glad I didn't pass it :D |

| Yay. KnB on pause, Haikyuu seems to be a decent replacement. Call me biased, I am :P First episode was really good imho, waiting until they toss in a girl or two, add rivals etc. This could be really good. Well, what made KnB so great were the opponents, this show has yet to present any (well, their faces anyway). I love the soundtrack and I like the MC. Both of them. Glad to see that "king" is not complete douche but just someone who wants his team to give it their best. I like the attitude. Oh, and those jumps looked bloody awesome. The animation has been great on them. It looked like there's momentum behind those jumps. Kudos on that. |
| Man that was a great start. It's not often a sport anime can get to me right from the get go. I've yet to see a sports story that's as good as Slam Dunk but this anime's MC reminds me of Sakuragi. As long as they keep it real and not resort to ridiculously OP super power like Kuroko Basket I'm in! |

| That was a great start. I thought that it was a basketball anime and I hate playing volleyball, but it's surprisingly captivating. It will take a bit of time to me to get habituated to Hinata voice since it's a bit childish, but I guess that I one point, I won't notice it. The premise is interresting. A super great player that always play solo and is ironically the passer. A small and lacking of technic boy but he can jump so high that it compensate his height. It look like it will turn a bit around the theme of a genius who finally found his pair, a fairly often used theme. It doesn't matter, original theme in sport are almost impossible to find. We also the sexy club leader :P Damn, she look fine. The art is great. It's usually the type of drawing we see in sport, those slow jump getting out of focus are always a good way to relay the intensity to the viewer. The OP/ED are great. Nico is always a great choice for shounen music :) |

| Wow.I was afraid that my hype was too big for this one, and im going to be disappointed, but holy sheet.This went beyond my expectations.Characters, animation, OST, emotions - everything was absolutely amazing in first episode.Favorite series of this season so far. 9/10 and i can actually see this with perfect score in future.Hopefully the things will stay the way they are now.Also, SPYAIR opening reminded me of how much i miss Gintama. Im so fired up and happy right now. |

| Didn't quite get why people were so excited over this... The synopsis and pv didn't seem that interesting to me... So well I tried watching it and it's actually pretty nice :D |
