I’ve been watching anime on and off since I was in middle school, but became a non-casual at the start of 2013 after I watched Kuroko no Basket and it changed my life (not really). I am still finding myself genre wise, but I know that I prefer more dark and mysterious settings, sports, mature stories, action, and coming of age stories.

How I Rate Series:
My scores are subjective and mostly based on my enjoyment. I do take aesthetics into consideration, but they won’t affect a score more than 1-2 points (plus or minus).
10 – Genius plot/execution. A show I am compelled to re-watch multiple times due to its sheer awesomeness. Unforgettable, has a deep emotional impact, and induces feelings of euphoria. No major flaws
9 – Still in the "masterpiece tier". Another unforgettable and euphoric show. Almost a 10 but has one or more substantial flaws that distract me from the euphoria. Emotional impact not as deep as a "10".
* Berserk is the only anime on my list that should be a 10, but is rated 9 just because of the awful production values that were distracting at times.
8 – An awesome show. Highly enjoyable and/or has great and respectable artistry. Unforgettable and engaging. Stands above most other shows I've watched,but has a few noticeable flaws.
7 – A very good and impressive show that ultimately only garnered half-hearted engagement from me AND/OR had some artistic failings. A 7 is really good, I enjoyed it a lot but it lacks a "wow" factor to push it into being an 8.
6 – Good show that was enjoyable but had several aspects or reoccurring elements that lessened the show's quality and/or my enjoyment. Often or frequently irritated me.
5 – Not worth watching. Has some good elements that could make the show enjoyable, but leans more towards it weaker elements and as a whole pisses me off. Basically shows with potential that fell short (by a lot).
4 – Bad show. A show with a bad story and/ or poor direction, writing, or characters. Makes me wonder if the creators were even trying to make a good story. Can be enjoyable as a hate watch.
3 – Not just "bad", it fails to the extent that it makes me angry. So bad it's offensive,not even in a funny way. Not even worth hate watching.
*Never rated anything below a 3, and even 3’s are a very rare score for me, because I usually drop bad shows before I can rate them properly. Heck, I even drop good shows occasionally due to boredom or loss of interest.
i respect your review of one outs but your issues with the antagonist doesnt make sense. Tokuchi tricked the teams owner once for a lot of money and the rest of the season is him trying to get it back. It honestly is interesting when you think about it the coach cant just fire Tokuchi he has to get his money back that was swindled from because if he fires him the team will take a huge loss from a free contract. He could just let Tokuchi stay on the team and pay him as a player but then he would be losing a lot his paychecks. So the owners best option is to trick Tokuchi and after all Tokuchi tricked him first and put him in this so why wouldnt he fight back. But I guess that game of constant deception and tricks can be boring to some people like you idk
Nothing much, but thanks for accepting. I saw Fantastic Children in your favorites and that's always a plus for anyone in my book. It really is so under underappreciated.
ahh hey thanks for the rec on the review feature for SS o: had never heard of Juuni Kokuki for the life of me xD hearing its good for fantasy/action ill definitely check it out, but im not entirely sure ill make it flr the review feature due to all the seasonals, haha xD

Yea its been awhile :o I was so busy these past few months. I barely watched any anime @.@ so many assignments and projects. I actually learned a lot and im genuinely surprised. I usually walk away from classes remembering nothing. I think its because I actually enjoy what Im learning. :O My classes are just wrapping up now, but I still gotta take summer school to take one required course that I couldnt fit into my schedule this year, so its like meh I wont have much time for myself but i'll try to make the best of what I got.
Well lets see... Im doing pretty good. My exams are coming up soon so i'll start stressing for awhile but then i'll be good again. After those are done I can finally marathon kuroko no basket season 3. im so hyped. Then next on my list will probably be jojo part 3. I didnt like it at first but I got its video game and I think i'll like it more now.
Omg thats right :O My wallet :O my girlfriend goes to a different uni than me so we cant see each other everyday but i try to see her at least once a week. Luckily for me shes cool with paying for her own bills but damn. Im broke T.T I wanted to buy bloodborne the other day but I gots no money for it. hahaha well I dont really mind that much since I really like this girl a lot :)

Well I havent watched anything since the 2nd and so far besides going to class Ive spent most of my time talking with my girlfriend :P hopefully I can get some actual work done. xD
And I had that problem too. I'd watch like 30-40 shows at a time. I was a mess before. @.@
Oh ive been meaning to watch those ovas but if im going to watch them then id probably want to watch the main show after im done with them and i dont really have the time for that right now. I heard it was really good though.
And yea ive gotten that depressing feeling plenty of times before but you eventually get used to it. Like now I get more excited about what awesome show will sweep me off my feet next rather than brood over the ending of a show.
