| Just finished watching this movie, and i was absolutely blown away by how good it was. After finishing it it made me realize just how much i actaully miss the anime. Anyone know if there's a chance of it coming back? The movie made it look like this is truly the end of the Gintama anime.... |

| AS Kairei has put it, there is a fairly high chance of it returning. It's just a matter of 'when'. I think they are probably waiting for the material to pile up so that they can return with more than 100 episodes (Please God!). |

| The movie was amazing. ^_^ Hopefully there'll be more, but it looks like the movie shows the end. But I haven't watched all of the episodes so they've kept me busy.. |

| In case it will continue, they will have a hard time since the manga introduced a lot of new characters and few reoccurring ones. They also had a genderbend arc which might need new candidates for voice actors but only for that arc. |

| It will return. Movie sales and popularity were good, there's still business to be taken care of in the anime (Takasugi and crew), they're definitely going to mention more things about Gintoki's past, though we kinda know what happened already. And, well, they've always joked about how they were on the line with the TV animation, but 265 episodes + 2 movies may have already proofed that the series will have a real ending. Plus, they already shown that making filler episodes aren't that hard of a deal for Gintama. To be honest, I can only see they dropping this series in case sales drop out drastically, they have their hands full of other titles that they'd like to make instead of Gintama or if the manga stopped being produced. |
