How's the ending? I kinda got bummed with the anime ending, which wasn't really an ending. I bet they made the ending like that under the assumption that they wanted a 3rd season to happen, guess not =/. Also I want to finish, but don't want to finish. Coz well.... It's gonna happen, the end of their journey, Holo says goodbye, Lawrence either goes

Farewells hurt. Especially when they're in love Q_Q. I mean, I know farewells are somewhat common. Eg; High school graduation episodes. But.... This felt different ;-;... It told a story... of a travelling merchant and a wolf girl, developing a relationship with very interesting interactions, eventually falliing in love then.... Farewell.... FEEL TRAIN!!!!!!!!

The ending's fine. Volume 16 ends the regular story on a good note, and there's an epilogue volume 17 which provides a bit more closure (though maybe not enough if you're the type who wanted everything wrapped up in a neat bow). But that's why fanfics exist.
