Yep, I totally agree with your post on the Spice and Wolf ending. I meant to use that as one of my choices, but totally forgot while creating the poll.
Most animes of Spice and Wolf caliber, usually concludes with an open-ended ending. To be honest, an ending like you described, makes the most sense. It'll be rewarding to see that Horo and Lawrence will continue to travel, once the main plot ends.
