Please learn about cel animation and its technical process. Learn how special effects and backlighting were done without computers. |
| how old is holo she looks early 20 but sometimes looks late teens but acts late 30s. people on the forums says she takes the form of a 15 year old but is she actually 15. she doesn't care about sowing he lady parts o.o....whyy |

| I like the Middle Ages setting and what I've seen of Horo so far. She seems to be an interesting character. I don't really get why it's rated so high because it didn't have a solid 10 beginning but I'm guessing it picks up. I like animes based around deities so I'm looking forward to more. |

| I've always been a huge fan of feudal era, so this anime excite me. I'm not sure I understood everything of what happened, like who is Holo, but I guess all will get clear in the future. Also, the sub that I'm watching have a weird font so it's kinda hard to read... :/ I smell a weird love triangle in the future. One thing that bugged me, but I can understand, is the weird censorship. I mean, I prefer not see boobs at all if it has no nipple, it just look so... unnatural. Same for the vagina. At least, they could have use the stupid trick of using the hair to hide the nipple or something like this :/ |

| I definitely had to make sure I payed attention to this first episode. It didn't really grab me and I expected a little more from a high rated show. I'm glad there was no fan-service as well. You get a lot of that in these shows so it was a nice break. Like, I said it didn't really grab but I'll definitely watch the next episode to give it a chance. |

| Pretty interesting episode, I like the interactions between Holo and Lawrence, and having an adventure by going north. Although I want to see more on Holo's back story on why is she a wolf and stuff, and Lawrence by being a travelling merchant. The characters, animation, and story are not bad so I have no arguments in them. Looking forward into the next episode. |
| It felt a little confusing to me and really slow, but it wasn't bad. I hereby dub Brina Palencia the sexiest voice actor in America though. She makes every girl she voices sound unbelievably hot. Tatum seems like he's the perfect fit for Lawrence, too. The opening was amazingly well done in terms of animation and music as well. |

| So, against my better judgement I decided to watch this subbed. Not a bad introduction, though the religious structure in the anime is a little confusing at this point. There seems to be a Catholic-like faction that believes in one God, while this little village believes Holo is God. Holo herself denies that she is God, but still seems to possess some sort of supernatural power. What she's actually supposed to be has yet to be explained. "A huge wolf" won't cut it for me, folks. xD I'm not sure what to think of Chloe yet. I think she has an obvious romantic interest in Lawrence. It also seems that he taught her what she knows about business. Holo's a bit cute and snarky simultaneously. Decent start. Edit: Since others are mentioning it, I thought the censorship was very tasteful. Holo's nudity wasn't meant to be erotic, and showing details would have distracted from the focus. Plus, it didn't seem like ecchi fanservice that way. I'm glad they didn't show anything. |

| Been meaning to watch this ever since watching Maoyuu Maou Yuusha back when it aired. Didn't like MMY much tbh,but can already tell I'm like this so much more. |

| Been told a lot of good things about this show. So far, it's an Interesting setting and I like Lawrence and the wolf goddess. Look forward to seeing where they go with this. |

| Pretty underwhelming, no overblown scenes, except for that transformation leaving Lawrence truly stricken by fear. Also, I find it weird how Lawrence can talk to a naked girl with such a straight face. Is he... impotent or lacks a libido? wuut? solid 3.5/5 right now. Nothing too special? |

| I really enjoyed this first episode, mostly because of Holo. When I first saw her on the cover I thought she would just end up being one of those cutesy Anime type girls that I really dislike, boy was a wrong. I'm really loving her character so far. I'm also a sucker for anything with a medieval fantasy setting, so that's a big plus for me. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. |

| giving this one a try! i always have heard people say good things about this but my expectations weren't high at all. seems like a nice, relaxing anime. :) interested to see where the story goes and how lawrence and holo develop~ |

This is its own anime, so you don't have to worry about it pandering to otaku or furries or something like that, if that's what you mean. This isn't one of those "oops, I pulled her tail so she moaned like she's turned on" series. In fact there really isn't any typical fanservice in the show. There are a couple of scenes where the girl is nude, but they're not played up the way fanservice usually is, and make sense in a story context. Jeez, that was supposed to be a joke. |

| I know this is some sort of iconic series but the first ep was sorta meh, too much info dump, i'm sure it'll get better, and really hope the animators do better cause it was really poor in that department. |

| I haven't read the manga, but this felt really rushed somehow. I'm not sure what Holo wants from Lawrence either tbh, an average start for this show. |
