Or at least as I understood it the creatures that attacked rickerts team are all Apostles on their way to the eclipse ceromony. the one important thing missing in this anime was the appearance of the skull knight |

| Funny evolution for Griffith. He really came to dislike the importance he gave to Guts in his life to the point of blaming his "friend" for things he actually did to him himself. So, spirits, demons & co. are out tonight? Is there a ballet? At least, the Count had a " buffet" before the meeting. 5/5 |

| This is miserable. Griffith is clearly confused but very happy to see Guts. He is unsure about being sane himself. I think he could still be right now because of the idea of Guts.. However have Guts make one wrong move and Griffith is going to become very vengeful. Im sure he isnt happy with Guts and Casca's relationship. Perhaps thats already too much? If Guts is still planning to leave Griffith this will be very, very bad.. It will be difficult for Griffith to communicate anything without his tongue.. Wonder if there will be anything left of the band of the Hawk as well. |

| Guts didn't even had a serious challenge here, looked like a regular warmup. Seeing Griffith like that is just painful but seering Guts cry was even more painful than that. Great and deep episode overall |

| Woooooh! Man, this anime is really building up towards the end. I hope the ending won't disappoint. There's still so many unanswered questions and only 3 more episodes to answer (at least some of) them. What was the demon thing that crawled towards Griffith in the beginning of the episode? What happened to Rickert? I assume he's dead? What does that freakin' Behelit do? What's Griffith going to do, once he regains strength? No more tendons and no tongue. I assume that means he can never walk or speak again? Guts just went Berserk! Awesome. The look Griffith gave when Casca was cleaning up Guts... I'm on the edge of my seat, onto the next one. |

| This is where the pain train begins huh :( It was a depressing episode but it's crazy seeing what griffith has become but at the same time, guts's rage was interesting to watch. I found it cool how the 1997 anime made it pretty clear that griffith was trying to choke guts at the reunion there compared to how the manga depicted the panel (in my opinion.) Super good episode once again |

| Griffith is miserable, his body is only a shelter. First thing he does, he tries to strangle Guts. He believes him responsible for his downfall. But Guts only wants to help him, he does everything for revenge. Casca is in shock, she knows that Griffith can't ever return to his old being. After that torture, the body can't possibly heal, not even with fairy medicine. I loved Rickert vivid dream, it was so disturbing and beauty at the same time. A masterpiece of an episode! |
